Nice and clean hotel, the gentleman that checked me in wasn’t friendly. But the gal that checked me out the next morning was friendly and happy to help me. The wifi didn’t reach my room, but not a huge deal. Everything else was great!

The location is perfect - so close to parking garage, train and bus station, and everything Galway has to offer! It’s just a bit noisy being in the heart of the lively city!

Central to everything in Galway this is an excellent choice for a stay. Very friendly staff, particularly a very efficient young barman called Luke. I recommend the chowder highly.

I have stayed here for many years in fact from 2001, whilst it’s a love place in the centre of Galway the rooms are getting a little tired, may be I had an old room.

Great service, Lovely staff. Rooms were clean bed was comfy, just the headboard of the bed was a bit dirty, the leather of the headboard was starting to peel but nothing major. Excellent food could have been a bit hotter. No problem at all with a late check out when asked the morning before. Excellent location. Very happy couple :)

The hotel room we stayed in was old but clean. It was average but it was in a great location. The breakfast was very good. Lots of choices and good tasting.

The property was in a super location but for 3 of the days the hotel had no water… which meant no flushing toilets, no showers, no hand washing, etc. We understood it wasn’t the hotels problem but rather a pipe on the street but, none the less, our stay was greatly impacted and no partial refund or any comps of meals or ??? Any offer would have been appreciated but we paid full price for a hotel without water for 3 of our 6 days… a bit disappointing!

This hotel is in a great location and is a perfect base when visiting. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We arrived on the Friday and due to road construction there was no water in the hotel to shower or use the bathroom till 10.30am on Saturday morning. The hotel is on a busy road so I would bring ear plugs. There was house/techno music blaring till 2.30am below us which was quite disruptive. I had actually brought ear plugs and used them on Fri Eve and left them on the bed side table but housekeeping disposed of them so I was without Sat eve.

Great location, though the street noise stops at 0100 and restarts at 0430 thanks to the grocery store across the street and trucks making a racket with deliveries -- best to avoid -facing rooms if you love sleeping
