Great hotel. Bit dated and beds not great. But lovely staff.

A great place to stay, the only observation would be the parking and value for money

The hotel was pleasant enough, but while they stated there would be one cleaning in a weeks stay there was no cleaning, the fact that there was no coffee/ tea restock was very disappointing. Also the washing machine / dryer didn’t work properly and that meant wet clothes hanging and unwashed clothes… for over €200 per night these should not have been issues I needed to deal with.

Very nice hotel, excellent location. Nice sized bedrooms, large bathrooms. Fantastic service in the bar and restaurant. Only issue is car park spaces are very tight, but is secure and well light. Would definitely stay again.

Our stay at the Herbert Hotel was extremely pleasurable, which was amplified even more by the friendly staff.

Disappointing Experience We have been coming to the Dublin Horse Show and staying at Herbert Park for many years. Check-in is at 3 PM, but after 4 PM, our room was still not ready. The receptionist, after speaking with the manager, informed us that we were allocated an apartment. However, I specifically did not book an apartment, as I have stayed in one before and do not like it. I declined this option, and the receptionist went to get the manager. After waiting another 10-15 minutes, we were finally given a room. The rooms are very dated. I ordered tea from room service, but the porter forgot the milk, so we had to wait for that to arrive. We also had a drink at the bar, but the drink I ordered was unavailable. Additionally, I noticed that there were flies all over the glasses and open drink bottles, which raised health and safety concerns. I mentioned this to the barman, but he seemed unconcerned. Overall, it was one issue after another. The prices for the weekend during the Dublin Horse Show are exorbitant, which I don’t mind paying if the quality and service match the price. Unfortunately, this hotel is falling far below the expected standard. On a positive note the room cleaning staff was very friendly and helpful.

Spent a great 5 nights at the Residences! The rooms are really lovely with park views and the mini dishwasher and washing machine was an unexpected surprise. Rooms are very tastefully decorated and bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again!
