Central Hotel Yokosuka

there’s nothing too spectacularly amazing about this hotel, but i really loved how close it was to the mall and the train station! either than that, room is very small, if you have a room facing the train station (like i did) it will be extremely noisy, the beds are hard, and it is a little inconvenient to return and pick up your room key every time you leave and come back.

Very traditional

Pros: Hotel is 1 minute walk from central station. Cons: I've had quite a bit of experience traveling in Japan, this place has comically small bathrooms. But more important than that, even though I put 3 adults on the reservation, they insisted that the beds were too small for a couple to share one and required me to buy a roll out bed at nearly the price of another room. Additionally, the breakfast buffet time is 6:45 to 8:15. My friends came down at about 8:25 when there were still people sitting and eating, and there was still plenty of food, and they turned them away. It was just kind of ridiculous considering the leftover food would just get tossed anyway. There wasn't a reason to turn them away other than the fact that it was outside the stupidly narrow time window. I would walk a little further given another visit to the area.

The hotel was a little bit old and the staff are very friendly.

Ideal location, between the train station, two shopping centers, and string of diverse restaurants.

I travel Yokosuka yearly, the hotel is 5 minute walk from the train station. If I need something, the staff responds to my requests in minutes. The room is kept clean. The breakfast buffet is a great way to start the day.

Great

Smallest rooms in the area. Staff doesn’t work with you when you agree to pay 1100¥ per hour for late check out.

I like the property for convenience from train station, restaurants and shopping.

Everything was good enough. The AC for the building may not have been on. The AC in my room didn't blow could air. I opened the window, which let in a mosquito. But, the room cooled off after sunset. In the morning, my room was in the morning sun and was uncomfortably warm by 8am.

It was a great hotel, location and staff. It just has some annoying things like having to leave your key every time you go out

Nice stay, close to Chuo station. Located around everything you will need .

It’s good for a night. It’s good in a pinch. But there’s no luxury to it.

I love the Japanese and their hospitality and honor.

Inexpensive, next to Yokosuka Chuo station, and close to many restaurants. 10 minute walk from Yokosuka Naval Base.

The room is hot

Staff is great. Location awesome. Breakfast was good. Rooms are super small. Bathrooms small and awkward. Hated it was a smoking hotel and we got stuck in the smoking floor. Not sure I would stay again.
