Very nice and great staff. 5 minute walk from the ferry port if you wantto visit the island. Right in the middle of all the amenities you need

It was a simple hotel. No breakfast, but plenty of convenient stores nearby. There is also a nice Japanese Onsen/Sauna nearby (men’s only, however). I like the 11 am check out because many places in this are have checkout at 10 am. There is a luggage check service for before and after check in and check out. There are several amenities available for free, including brushes, facial cleansers, toothbrushes, and hair bands.

Very good hotel. Only the persistent (i stayed for 5 days) smell of cigarettes coming from the hallway was annoying (but sadly it's usual in japanese hotels), even though I was staying in a non smoking room.

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights.
The room was nice and the staff were friendly.
The room was rather warm so we had the aircon on for the first two nights. Then on the third night we realised the settings had been changed on the aircon and we could no longer set it to blow cold air and the fan had been turned to half of the low speed.
The room was way too hot to even sleep in. This was during November when it was only 22 degrees during the day. Would not recommend this hotel during any sort of warm weather.

Location was good and there was a car park next to the hotel. The hotel has network with the car park and could offer cheaper overnight rate compare with other public car parks around. There were many restaurants around and easy access to a few big malls. We've stayed there for a night and return to the hotel after 3 nights. We were glad that the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage in the hotel for 3 nights. Overall the room was clean and quite small (which we expected).

Another hotel that is located at the doorstep of Tenmonkan. Easy access from airport, Sakurajima ferry or various sightseeing spots in town.
Unlike typical rooms in japanese business hotel chains, my room is actually fairly big and you can open up your suitcase fully inside the room.
One draw back though, i was given a room that literally faces the wall of the next door building, severely blocking all sunlight access into the room.
Price of the stay is quite reasonable but i wish there is a bit of outdoor sunlight coming into the room, instead of facing the wall of the nextdoor building early in the morning or at night.
