We enjoyed the room for its comfort, much needed from checking out Yamakataya, Shiroyama, Tenmonkan and Sakurajima. It's location and cleanliness were what we needed and what they offered at a very reasonable price.

Found out that the hotel is definitely eathquake-proof! Close to shopping and eating areas; bus stops etc. Clean rooms perfect for a 4-night stay!!

Bath room floor was not clean enough. Some lady hairs were found on floor

This hotel is in the Tenmonken area of Kagoshima. It was a great area to use public transportation for our adventures. We bought a 2 day CUTE Pass from the Tourist Information Center in CenTerrace shopping area. We were able to use it on the Kagoshima City Bus, the Kagoshima City View Bus, the ferry to Sakurajima, the Island View Bus on Sakurajima, and the trams in Kagoshima. Great deal! The hotel was perfectly situated and very comfortable.

Price and area.

This hotel located in the middle of the city centre. Staff are super friendly, especially when we had an issue with the TV and had to move the room. Rooms are reasonably priced.

We liked spotless clean and quiet room, very modern lightning, glass between room and bathtub.The staff was very polite and nice. There was elevator parking for the car. We slept well and we were able to catch the morning ferry.

Fairly new property, great central location with heaps of food options nearby. 20min walk to Sakurajima ferry etc

Exciting area of Kagoshima. Plenty of shopping, eating places and bars if you like. Not perfectly quiet, but hotel is central, clean and modern, even though we’ve been staying for over 10 years.

Stayed at this place for more than 10 years each visit. Although not as new as it once was, still in very good condition and it’s perfectly located.

Stylish hotel. Room smaller than many westerners would expect, but very normal for Japan. Well located in tenmonkan near to the airport bus stop.

This was a superb place to stay in southern Japan. Cappuccino bar next door, a brew pub serving IPA down the street, and no shortage of restaurants if you remembered to book in advance. Also this was a fun city to walk or use the streetcar. Lots of art exhibits throughout the city enhanced the experience.

Perfect for an overnight stay in Kagoshima. The shower and black out curtains were incredible.

Excellent location, very near the arcade for shopping, eateries and convenience store. Not so good room design, not for conservative type of people cos the shower room wall is glass and the person taking shower can be seen feom the bedroom itself. the sliding door leading to the shower room also has no lock, and is also glass. Our room, if the toilet sliding door and the main bedroom door are opwn, people outside can see the person taking shower. Very poor: If you need extra bed, room space will be very limited. We had a difficult time opening our 25” luggage cos the bed has eaten up the luggage space. The room is very dusty even if it is cleaned daily.

Convenient location for walking—15 minutes to train station, 15 minutes to water front. Food and museums and sites nearby.
