Sanco Inn Grande Tokyo Hamamatsucho

We enjoyed staying here, close to the Monorail to Haneda airport.

It’s very convenient as the place is close to the train station and walkable to most of the attractions. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

Very clean and tidy, you are able to take additional pillows from reception, the breakfast was also very good. I will stay here again.

Room was really small but otherwise clean and had all necessities.

Simple and peaceful. Close to Tokyo tower, too. I chose to be here because it’s close to the monorail (direct airport line). I’m glad I stayed.

The socks they gave did not fit my feet

Great business hotel close to Hamamatsucho station. Slightly larger than other standard business hotel rooms, but about the same price.

Really liked the amenities and room. I didn’t care for the kiosk Checkin, but I suppose it helps with language barrier issues.

I stayed one night when typhoon was hitting Tokyo very hard. Having not able to ship two big suitcases from Narita to Haneda due to the Tyhoon, I had to carry them via train and foot despite the devastating rain and wind. I arrived at the hotel 3 hours before the check in time, soaking wet. Two staff members at the front desk didn’t even attempt to help me bringing in the suite cases or wiping them. After I finished wiping the rain by myself just a few meters away from the front desk people, I asked them to see if there is any way that I could check in early. I was tired, wet and the outside was dangerously raining with strong wind. His answer was this, with straight face and no sympathy. “Unfortunately, you cannot check in until 3pm unless you are willing to pay the additional fees by hour.” While I understand the nature of the business, is there any humanity here? Is there any hospitality here? Outside, there was a huge typhoon hitting, and how can these people be so cold? Having traveled over 30 countries, I have never been treated like this before at ANY hotel. As convenient as this hotel’s location was, I will never ever stay at this hotel or the other Sanco-Inns again. It’s supposed to be a hospitality industry, and I felt that I was treated just as a money dropping robot for these people. And yes, they did let me check in at 2:50pm, 10 minutes before the official check-in time, without a charge after waiting for 2 hour and fifty minutes near or in the tiny lobby.

Many restaurants around the hotel and close to rail and metro.

I stayed for two consecutive nights, but when I woke up in the morning of the first day, I was bitten by ticks. I was very disappointed, even though the equipment was good.

Great location next to Hamamatsucho station with lots to see in close proximity.

Remote place no stores around there but quiet
