As announced by Royal Malaysian Customs Department, Tourism Tax is imposed starting 1 January 2023 for all hotel guests that are non-Malaysian or non-permanent Residents of Malaysia. General Check-in Instructions

A tourism tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is excluded from the room rates and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. Strictly no-smoking in the room. Penalty (minimum MYR200 per occupied room) will be imposed to guests who fail to adhere Hotel's Non-Smoking Policy. Alternatively, guests can smoke at public area. You may be required to present valid government-issued identification at check-in, along with cash to cover the incidentals and deposits. This deposit will be fully refunded if there is no damage or abuse of facilities occurred among your stay. All special request such as early check-in, late check-out, higher floor, extra bed etc are strongly subject to availability. Guests are encouraged to contact hotel at least 24 hours before arrival. Charges may apply.

My parents stayed here. They cancelled booking for my room last minute. It was really bad but it happened to be so much better compared to the one I stayed. Trust me I stayed in better hotel for same price. Not recommended but there are no better hotels here anyways.

Dear Pavin, Upon checking, only this booking ID under your name and we found that this booking ID never been cancelled. And you did check in on that date. Kindly provide us the detail of booking number or name that has been cancelled. For your info we never cancel guest bookings for any online booking unless we receive a cancellation request from them or we will mark no show for the guest that did not check in on that day.

The room looks like budget hotel. No carpet. But i pay for the room quite expensive. Just because the place have limited hotel, so you take advantage increase the price. Not good.
