Great location, lovely room with a terrace. Staff was friendly and helpful. I recommend booking directly through the hotel for better r ates and you’ll get better service. I would definitely stay again.

Super convenient to stay here. Amsterdam central is walking distance, public transportation is next to the hotel, staff is willing to help you get around the city in the public transportation. Comfortable beds, hotel is fancy, at an affordable price.

The room was what I expected. The room was clean and seemed newly renovated. It was a little loud at night and could hear other doors in the hallway slamming. The hair dryer didn’t work which was annoying but not a huge deal. The location was relatively close to public transit.

Small rooms and very average cleanliness - many details overlooked, like washing the baseboards, cleaning the hot water kettle, and no ridge between shower & rest of the bathroom, so the whole bathroom gets wet. Otherwise the location and service are great, just a reminder you get what you pay for.

The staff was really the most amazing part of this hotel. We had some travel problems arise and they were so helpful! Also the room was large which allowed us to spread out. The bathroom was small and the lighting was poor. We were on the ground floor with a park outside the window so we didn’t want to open the curtains much. The room was not the room in the picture when we made the reservation… no balcony, no great view, not as new looking but we loved the location and the staff and had an enjoyable stay.

This was a highly rated hotel, but it was a lackluster experience. The walls were super thin and you could hear the neighbors on both sides, the room itself was dirty with cobwebs and dirt. Was expecting more based on the price and photos. Thankfully the location was in a great area with restaurants, transportation, and ease of walking places. Overall not an awful place, but I would ease on the side of caution if you are looking at this place for a stay.

The room was dirty, I told the manager and was told I would get a refund if I checked out a day early as I wanted another hotel and to refund me for my parking but never received anything. They are avoiding my calls and messages. Very poor service and I got scammed out of my refund. Very disappointed

Our room did not look like the picture and we were in the farthest corner, however it was clean and did suit our needs. We appreciated the staff at checkin & checkout was also good. The area outside, as with most of the city area was a bit dirty. It was convenient to Vondel Park and some of the attractions so we were happy to be in the area despite the street cleanliness.

We had a fantastic stay at Grand Hotel. The tram made the hotel so easy to access from anywhere in the city. The room was great and view from the penthouse was amazing! Staff were very accommodating and sorted out a cot etc for our baby. We’d love to be back!

Incredible experience and a truly fantastic hotel. Worth every penny and we look forward to returning. It provided stunning views 😍 and great memories. It was a peaceful hotel and everything conviently located around it or a stroll away. Thank you for such a pleasant stay!
