A decent hotel in an area nearby an amazing park and high end shopping. Located in the museum district and nearby any needs. Good for the money but there is no AC. They do have fans which help a lot and a great breeze if you open the windows but mosquitoes are abundant.

Property: - Absolutely clean. - Amazing room & washroom - Free coffee in the lobby is a plus (this is apart from the refreshments provided in the room) - Fresh towels everyday Locality: - We literally walked everywhere. The only time we took the tram was when arriving into the city because we had luggage - Safe and nice neighbourhood - Right next to vondelpark - So many shopping options right outside the hotel in the streets No complains, would 100 percent visit again.

We booked the Quadruple Room that accomodates 4 pax. The room was small with little walking space. Room had basic decor. The mattresses were very soft and they kept slipping a bit out of our beds. The shower doors were derailed and they became stuckwirh 3/4 closed and the bolts at 2.corners of the edges came off. The reception offered to change room for us, but I managed to move the doors to full open so we declined the change of room. Location wise, it's one street away from the branded goods shopping outlet. It's 5 minutes walk to the Van Gogh Museum, Rijkmuseum, and Stedlikij Museum. There's a tram stop outside of Van Gogh Museum that have trams going to Amsterdam Centraal train station and Amsterdam Zuid train station. Reception staff were friendly and smiley.

Lovely room with everything we needed. Very clean and good facilities. The breakfast was good with a varied choice and the location was fantastic for seeing the sights of Amsterdam, especially close for transport links using the tram.

This property has bed bugs. STAY AWAY! I was only in Amsterdam for three days and I had to spend one of those days washing all my clothes at a laundry (at my own expense) and buying new unaffected clothes to wear while I did the washing. This also cost me. I lost a lot of money and holiday time because of this filthy establishment and its blatant disregard for the well-being of its patrons. Other reviews verify the presence of bed bugs. I do not understand why this hotel is still running, let alone why it is advertised on a site like Expedia. Simply awful.

Was great location, nice staff. Carpet needs repaced with solid florring. Need screens on windows to enjoy beautiful flowers outside. Breakfast was so good. Will stay again.

Would never, ever stay again at this hotel!! Not only is it extremely outdated, there’s no air conditioner, and they tell you not to open the windows because they are infested with mosquitos. I was put in a room with my fiancé and was told not to open the window, so we didn’t the first night. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes that night because the window was broken and wouldn’t shut properly. Awful hotel- weird smell. Do not stay here!!!!

The room was fine. The beds have a think matress topper which keeps coming off. Our room was a basement which was unbearably hot which no air con. So hot sleep was impossible.

Good location. The hotel is at best a two-star facility. The room had poor lighting, non working phone system and no air conditioning. Operable window had no screening for bugs. The bathroom was in need of serious repair and updating, no wash cloths, no toiletries, no bath soap. Since the one night stay was in August and cooling is via open windows in room and common areas, many mosquitos were present. In short, would look anywhere else next time in Amsterdam.

Hotel is dirty and has a strong cigarette smell in room and linens. Staff is condescending and rude. I would recommend staying literally anywhere else. We arrived and the rooms were gross and we couldn’t breathe it smelt so strong of cigarette. We couldn’t get our money back and the gentleman at the front desk was incredibly rude and condescending. We booked a last minute room at the Hyatt and the commute to the city was worth it to not stay here.
