Everything was wonderful, excellent staff, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back.

This gem of a hotel was so quiet and comfortable. It’s location can’t be beat: one small block from the tram line (#2 or #12 to Centraal Statiin) and the Van Gogh Museum; a couple of blocks to the Rijksmuseum; and a few blocks to a big park.

LOVED this stay! It was my final stop after being in Europe for a week and I felt extremely comfortable. This was a perfect place to stay in the Museum Quarter. SUPER clean! The jets in the tub were a bonus and worth every penny after all the travelling! This is located a 2 min from shops like Chanel and 10-15 min walk from bars and food!

Hotel is located in a good area, near the museum square with many restaurant options within a 5-10 minutes walk. The room was clean with a confortable bed.

Great location, right in the museum district/designer shops and close to the center. Spacious rooms and friendly staff.

A nice, cozy place right next to the museums, the concert hall and all the shops and restaurants.

The front desk staff are friendly and very helpful with restaurant recommendations. Although we stayed in a basement room, we were thankful because the darkness allowed us to sleep in so we could recover from an exhausting flight. Great location near fancy retail and museums.

The staff were so kind and helpful here- there was hot water in the shower and bathrooms were clean, which was lovely. The front desk staff have plenty of recommendations for meal reservations, and were even able to get us into a room early. We would absolutely stay here again

This hotel is very comfortable and nice and is located on a gorgeous quiet street near the museums and also high end shopping.

Hotel JL no76 was great for a 2night stay with family and we would return. We stayed in a family room that had bunk beds in a small alcove which meant a good space and the children could go to sleep slightly earlier than us and not be disturbed. The room was in the basement so in the morning there was some noise / activity from outside with the cleaners getting ready. This did not disturb / impact us but you may want to take this into consideration. Breakfast was very good, with a fairly small but good quality assortment of pastries, bread, granolas and hot elements such as bacon, eggs and sausages. I believe there was the option to order from a small menu also. Reception staff were incredibly welcoming, giving a list of suggested (and personal favorite) restaurants etc and also offered to make any reservations we required. Location was fab. A quiet street just off the museum plaza and tram stop. Easy walking distance to central Amsterdam and everything we needed to see. Rijks musem was a short walk away and highly recommended. There were also some fab high end shops in the locality too. It was 20 minutes or so on the tram from the central train station. Overall would highly recommend

If you are going to Amsterdam and want a hotel that sits right in the middle of everything, then Hotel JL 76 is your place. Museums, canal cruises, on-off bus tour, you name it and this place is a 10. The breakfast is also great.

Our stay at Hotel JL No76 was wonderful! The team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were always greeted with a friendly hello when coming back after a long day adventuring around Amsterdam, and any requests that we made (like extra pillows and shower gel) were promptly handled. We mentioned it was our honeymoon in our booking, and when we checked on our first day there were heart-shaped balloons and a personalized note waiting in our room. The team also regularly treated us with small surprises like free drink tickets and bags of popcorn, always waiting on the desk after room service had come through. We felt very loved. The hotel itself is cute and located on a fairly quiet residential street that is near the major museums, Vondelpark, plenty of restaurants, an Albert Heijn grocery store, and shops of all kinds and price points. We mostly walked everywhere, but the hotel is also close to many public transit stops. Like other hotels in Europe we’ve stayed in, it is small by American standards. We did not find this to be a problem as we were out enjoying the beautiful city most of the time we were there anyway. And it does have a good, quick elevator. Our room was extremely comfortable. The bed was nice, especially with extra pillows. The bathroom was not much to speak of but perfectly decent. Overall, we had an excellent experience and hope to return soon!
