Great location and lovely helpful staff. Checkin was easy and the breakfast was delicious. Such good value. Just one thing that needs attention. The bathroom silicon sealer was mouldy and could do with replacing.

For Invercargill this is one of the better options. Great restaurant and bar facilities and location. A little dated but still a very comfortable hotel.

Solid hotel in a good location in central Invercargill. Nice room and staff was friendly/helpful. Parking is offsite, but only a block away.

The hotel looks great from outside(as pictures show), but actually inside the building was old and tired. Our room had very old carpet and everything was old. The walls were thin and we heard people talking from the next room. It seemed that the management had decided to invest in making them look good rather than giving comfort to their guests. We were disappointed. Their sports bar's food was great.

The bed was super comfy and big, staff were lovely and the whole hotel was really clean. I would've rated it higher had there been air conditioning in our room, a better breakfast menu (2 items on menu) that wasn't so expensive and if the shower had better water pressure. But overall it was a pleasant stay

Lovely four nights at the Kelvin, room perfectly adequate for me and good to find accommodation which is not hugely expensive. The only complaint I would note is that people seem to think it ok to slam doors! Otherwise all good and I would stay there again.

Parking at Wilson, staff is really reachable and friendly. The hotel is a bit old but the duty manager at the time is really kind offering any help if in need.
