Great location and hosts!

We had a gorgeous stay at this lovely property and will definitely return:) Our hosts were wonderful and made it feel like home with lovely touches including wine in the room and port in the hallway and such a delicious breakfast. So comfortable and loved the historical experience.

Steve and Jackie were exceptional in taking care of every guest. Breakfast was brilliant, guests were friendly and eagerly exchanging experiences and recommendations. Our stay was superb!

Our stay was incredible. The owners were so helpful and kind. Beautiful historic building. The location was perfect right across from the trolleys, art centre, museums, botanical garden, etc. Can’t recommend enough!

Fabulous Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Felt like home!

Wonderful place to stay! Our room was super comfortable. The beds and linens were very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was great. Best walkable location in Christchurch. We’ve booked again after our RV trip in New Zealand.

This was such a wonderful stay! As soon as we walked in, I felt at home. I am so happy we got to stay here to enjoy the hospitality. Wonderful location as the botanical gardens are just a block away, a tram stop across the street, arts center about two blocks away, and plenty of good food options.

Had a wonderful one nights stay at the Classic Villa. Upon arrival, our hosts told us that we were upgraded and ended up staying in one of the nicest rooms we ever seen. Very charming and warm as a proper B&B should feel. Even though the breakfast time was from 7:30 am, the hosts were up and ready before 7 to accommodate a group of guests that were leaving earlier. There was access to coffee and treats during the day. The Villa is centrally located and most attraction points in the city are within walking distance. We will definitively stay at the Villa again when visiting Christchurch.

Love the stay at The Classic Villa. Steven and Jacky were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed it very much and will definitely stay again when we come back to Christchurch.

Steve and Jackie were amazing hosts! Enjoyed the breakfast spread they put out every morning. The property was nicely appointed. The location was great for walking to downtown, aet venues and the Botanic Gardens. Some wonderful restaurants nearby.

We loved the area as it was so lovely and very quiet-we could also walk to town or catch the tram. The hotel was lovely and we had a very enjoyable breakfast each morning. The hosts made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble.

Ideal centrally located bed and breakfast. Wonderful kind thoughtful hosts. Loved the heritage feel of the original room- lovely high ceilings and marble bathrooms. Will return. Highly recommend.
