The style is fabulous, such attention to detail from the moody red lighting inside the lift shaft,the refreshments on each landing, bespoke bathrobes, Real World soaps & shampoos. The best hotel ive stayed in for a long time.....exceptional...knocks spots off the bland boxes you so often stay in.

Everything about the Intrepid is great! Staff were very helpful - I'd booked incorrectly, but they were very helpful and sorted everything out for us. The foyer is decorated in a dark period style. There was a lively bar at the back which had craft beer and decent wines. The bedroom was huge - decorated in dark warehouse style - I loved it. The croissants for breakfast were delicious, and we had some of the lovely snacks and soft drinks. Cuba street starts at the corner of the block and we tried a few restaurants along there - all delicious. Te papa museum is a 10 min walk.

We had a room that was a decent size. There is lots of good lighting in the unit and they try to little extra things to make your stay fun. It is good value.

LOVED my short stay here. Room and facilities were perfect, chique and homely. Loved all of the products available in the room and the ability to do my laundry which was a relief after travelling around. So close to many great food and entertainment options. Will definitely be back!
