Gorgeous place, nice staff and excellent loacation.

A unique hotel with a lot of unforced charm and very pleasant, helpful staff.

Need to pay extra to check in early even if the room was ready. Need to pay extra to check out one hour later. Not the welcome feeling.

Parking is a hassle, wish hotel would allow you to prepay without having to learn how their app works. No close or convenient lots.

Staff is amazing and access to the AirPort Express train at the National Theater station is very convenient

We had an absolutely amazing stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, check in was easy, and they handled us receiving bags that we shipped through a luggage porter service days ahead. They also let us store bags on our check out day. The room was well appointed and very comfortable with lots of light (and curtains). The shower was huge. The location is perfect for exploring Oslo. But our favorite part about the hotel was the breakfast buffet, which is free for hotel guests. It was outstanding and had anything you could dream of. Highly recommend staying here!

The hotel and the staff was excellent on my 3 day stay. Beautiful park across the road was also very nice

I had a broken ankle at the time, and was unable to use the stairs. There was only one very small elevator, and I often had to wait 5+ minutes to use it, especially during breakfast rush. For a hotel of its size, and for such a high price, it seemed really inadequate. For anyone with mobility issues, be advised.

Hotel is a little tired but it is old and unique. Very nice buffet breakfast. Super friendly staff and area was awesome.

We stayed one night over a weekend for a family trip to explore Oslo. We selected this hotel because of the excellent walking location to downtown landmarks and shopping. The included breakfast was incredible and the hotel staff’s service was top notch. Parking is a challenge - it’s not on-site and they do not have valet. You have to check in then drive to the nearest garage a few blocks away (cost $58 USD for 24 hours). Our room was nice but had some dysfunction. The bathroom has a step up that you could easily trip on in the middle of the night and there isn’t a counter to put toiletries upon. The reason for my 4 star review instead of 5 was the excessive nighttime noise from the adjacent nightclub. We were awakened by loud bass coming through the walls that lasted over 2 hours. From what I’ve read on other reviews, this is not an isolated incident and they have tried to mitigate sound as best as possible. One solution may be to provide disposable earplugs on the nightstand for guests like they do in downtown Nashville hotels.
