Everything here was so nice! The staff was friendly and let us store our luggage before we checked in. You can walk right down to the path along the lake from downstairs, and right into town from the front entrance. Plus the train station is right down the street! And the free breakfast is amazing!

This hotel was easy to find. Parking is right in the back. Nice to have a balcony. Do wear shoes on the balcony - it is made of wood. Good job with breakfast.

Restaurant was good and modern but a lack of staff left us stood at the bar for ten minutes, went else where instead. It all seemed very empty.
The rooms were cosy but really needed updating, there was also no coffee making facilities in the room. It was cleaned daily but the cleaner let herself in five minutes after breakfast finished when we were getting dressed - not very professional and wasn’t the best cleaning, more of a tidy up.
For such a big hotel it was a surprise that there are no laundry facilities, especially in such an outdoor activity oriented area.

Very impressed with Abdullah who served us was excellent, professional, easy to communicate and very helpful in sorting out our shower problem. He is an asset to park royal. I gave 3 in properly condition, as the property needs some serious renovations.

With a top of the line room we had great views of the lake and mountains. The room was large but no amenities. No in room coffee or tea. No safe. No shampoo/ conditioner. No wash clothes. Also no laundry service but the staff did take our laundry to another town and washed and dried it which was over and beyond what they had knowledge of.

Our room was comfortable and they had a very nice breakfast. The view of the lake was wonderful. The window didn't open very well, and it would have been nice to have some fresh air.
The public areas needed updating, but the rooms were very nice.

Outdated rooms. Windows were cracked and broken. Badly in need of renovation and mordernisation. No switches for chargers near the bed. Only the lobby looks new but the rooms are old dark stuffy

First room I had originally booked with lakeside view had bugs. They showed me 2 other rooms on the same floor. 1 was very dirty and also had bugs. other room was better, but bathroom had a strong chemical smell that staff told me was cleaning products but it was not. Cooked breakfast items like eggs were cold. Stay away from this "hotel" if you can.

A beautiful location, but there has been no apparent investment in this hotel in decades. This hotel seems to function as a stop for low cost tours of Norway. The staff perform when asked and they are freindly, but are not at all proactive.
