Way too overpriced and poor in comparison to other, much better hostels. While other places in Lisbon with better locations are around 13€ in the Winter Season (The Lounge Hostel, Room 007, Urban Garden, etc) this one charges 20€ currently which is ridiculous. There are no volunteers, only once per day a cleaning service. So no one takes really care about the common areas or the guests. We had a group of very dirty guests who did not clean up their dishes and left their trash everywhere. Eventually we had to clean up ourselves as it was dirty and filthy. Maybe we just had bad luck but it is not normal to leave guests on their own like this. Also one star less for the area. From the seating room you see tents from homeless people. Regarding the sitting room, it is just that, a sitting room with chairs and tables. Not even a couch. They really have never heard about customer experience. I mean, not one couch to relax, doggy area with homeless people and way overpriced. It is also mostly half empty. The owner is just way too greedy. I give one star extra only because it is quiet. But for some it may be too quiet. You don't meet any people or travellers. People just stay in their rooms. If you look in the "living room ' you understand why. Overall poor.

I spent 1 night in the female room, and it was fine. I slept very well. The receptionist is very friendly as well. I give 4 stars for the ròms cleaning.

The people who work there are very friendly, but when we found a bedbug in our dorm, the owner didn't want to pay for our washing costs. They did take the bedbugscare seriously tho, so that was good. We left with a bit of mixed feelings.

not a fun environment if you’re looking to meet people. not a great neighborhood, no good bars around, far walk to downtown. felt a bit unsafe walking outside as a girl at night, but had keys/codes for doors. bathrooms weren’t the cleanest, had to walk up lots of stairs. but staff were all nice and recommended a good restaurant across the street where you can get great cheap portuguese food. rooms have a/c which was nice. small common area

I needed a very important paper and it had to be issued through the hostel after I logged out but the hostel didn't want to send it to me and told me that the system is not working even though my friends went to another hostel and they sent them the paper after two days and I have been waiting for this paper for a month. If you are looking for a good place to stay don't go to this place because the reception there is racist and also untrustworthy. I do not recommend this place at all
