I have come again to Rio Art ! I love it for its little eccentric spin, its absolute uniqueness in decorations, arrangements of rooms, all are different; its breakfast room has different entries, you are together but you can be separate if you so wish. You may play the white piano downstairs or have an interesting chat with the crew about Setúbal and its surrounds. Location is convenient and easy to access by car, near to the water and all the happenings in town. The staff is outstanding in kindness, courtesy, attention, always there for you and will help with any query you may have. Very helpful indeed. Thank you to all of you!

Great little hotel, well located. Extremely friendly staff. Very clean... and despite facing the main road, very quiet for a traquil sleep. WELL DONE!

We loved everything about this hotel from the friendly greetings at the front desk and the lovely rooms overlooking the tree lined promenade to the delicious breakfasts each morning. This hotel is perfectly located to walk to the charming center of town, along the harbor and beaches and to catch the ferry to the white sand beaches of Tróia. All staff from the cleaners to the front desk were very friendly and did and excellent job of welcoming us! Anna at the front desk is a Setubal treasure. With her warm personality, she shared a wealth of knowledge and great suggestions about Setubal, her home town, and the local area. We would never have known to visit the former military 7ª Bataria de costa with its spectacular views of Setubal and the Tróia Peninsula. She also gave us great recommendations of things to do and see in other cities in Portugal. We loved our stay here and will definitely be back!

The stay in this beautiful hotel was a bliss. The welcome from Patricia was professional and warmhearted. The room was clean, the bed was cozy and the view on the second floor was delightful. Breakfast was really fresh with fresh fish, english bacon and eggs and fresh orange juice. The glasses are really tiny, but cute :). The service in the morning was really professional and welcoming! :) The girls are amazing. One point where we were shocked about was the price of EUR 3,- for a half liter bottle of water. :/ The safe didn't work unfortunately. One suggestion for improvement: Background music while having breakfast. :) Best Claudia and Edvin

We spent a great week at the Rio Art hotel celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on June 17, 2023. To our great surprise, the hotel staff had organized a cake, sparkling wine and a picture of a heart made of two swans (made of towels) on the day of the celebration. They were waiting for us when we arrived from the city tour. I have visited many hotels, but I have not met such a pleasant, helpful, polite staff as in Rio. They always had time to talk with us, tell us about places to go, where to have lunch, etc. They were friends for us northerners. A full service hotel. Suitable for those who want to spend a peaceful holiday. I missed you guys.
