PREMIER SUITES Edinburgh Fountain Court

I liked everything about the apartment except for the broken tiles in the bathroom and broken wooden floor in the hallway of the apartment.

Greeting, checkin, cleanliness, staff all great! The issue is the structure of the building itself with regards to sound proofing around the room, which is clearly none existent & done on the cheap by whichever developer they paid to build/convert the building into a Hotel. - We were there for the weekend and honestly had our sleep disturbed every night & peace disturbed during the day too. A hotel should offer peace & rest, but that was impossible, left feeling exhausted and stressed. The building isnt fit for purpose. 1) You hear the elevator going up and down , electrical droning noise through the bedroom wall. 2) The apartment above, you will hear the occupants walking around which sounds like banging on the floor. (they arent being heavy footed, its just really poor building materials). 3) the TV remove for the Living room keeps turning on the bedroom TV when you changing channels on TV one, you have to unplug TV No. 2. 4) Loose coaxial TV cables hanging down the building outside, which constantly whipps the wall when the breeze blows. Reception advised unfortunately there's no handyMen over the weekend. - As said, the staff pleasant and great, we had no issues there, they even offered us to change room, but there was no point changing as the entire building is the same. We advised Premier Suites on their feedback form after leaving that surely a compensatory goodwill gesture would be appropriate, ....No response eitherway. If you want to rest, dont go here.

Really nice, local to the center of town and public transport, shopping, etc. meticulously clean, has all amenities I needed, the check in was really smooth and they came in with me to show me how everything works. A great compromise between a hotel and an apartment for a great price.

Reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. Apartment was lovely and clean. Location was excellent. We had a 10 month old baby and the apartment worked out great with cot provided, kettle, microwave and fridge for preparing baby food.

Room was newly renovated and everything was super clean and brand new. Thoughtful details like a Nespresso coffee machine and coffee pods, tea, etc. Would definitely stay again. The only thing that would have made our stay a little more cozy and homelike would have been a throw or blanket in the living room!

I really enjoyed my stay here, being able to do laundry, and have the kitchen was very helpful. The only thing I had issue with was that you can hear the cars driving by on the road, and more times than not, people are revving their engines as it’s near a highway almost. I also didn’t like that when I would turn the water on in the bathroom, sink, toilet, or shower, there is a loud noise coming from behind the wall, almost industrial like.

I did not like the noise coming from the dual carriageway, even with the windows closed, it was still noisy.

Just back from premier suites great location good restuarants near by tram 5 minute walk facities great washing machine dish washer and all the coojing facilities but no chopping board.The only thing i didnt like was the bed was like lying on a slab of concrete with pillows to match i slept 2 nights on the sofa it was that uncimfortable

Listing shows bed a king size but it’s actually a double size bed. When you ask the receptionist they simply tell you that is the king size in UK which is incorrect. Also was provided a much older room and window was broken

This is a nice apartment hotel - very spacious, clean, and quiet. The apartment actually has two bathrooms, which is convenient. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

Premier Suites was an excellent base for our short break in Edinburgh. The apartment had great facilities including two showers which we didn’t expect. The staff were helpful and friendly. It took about 20 minutes to walk to the City centre which was very convenient. Would recommend to anyone wishing to visit Edinburgh.

The space was good, but it needs serious renovation, you can see how old everything is. Also what mostly bothered me was the bed sheets was not clean, when I asked for change they brought another dirty bed sheet! The third time it was clean though. I found it very inconvenient, you’ll notice the walls have stains in all rooms, the doors as well, it really bothered me. It was safe though, quite residential spot, 20 minutes distance from the major attraction. I will not go back to it.

Quite possibly one of the best stays I have ever experienced. The front desk are always available, and the staff treat you very well. Consider this place your home away from home. The rooms are very cozy and well equipped. Overall, I would give Premier Suites 10 stars if I could. Definitely my go to choice when I travel back!

Fantastic location,helpful staff and clean apartment - What more could you want ?

Very happy with this accommodation. Good area for walking into town centre or getting the train or tram. Good facilities in the area, great cafes nearby. Not much storage space in the apartment. Could do with some hooks in the bathroom to hand towels other than the heated radiator. My only gripe is there are heavy fire doors inside the building and the apartment which some inconsiderate fellow guests insisted on banging at 1am, two nights running.

It was great. Quiet. Washer/dryer is a bit confusing, read those directions twice.

Nice apartment in great location. Wasn't quite city views as described being on the ground floor with a view of the car-park, but it wouldn't put me off returning or recommending. Living/Kitchen area was clean, simple & comfortable and the bathrooms were well appointed.

The apartments are conveniently located in west end of Edinburgh. Very close to a bus stoo and easy walking disrance to restaurants etc. Checknin was speedy, very pleasant receptionist. We were shown to our suite, which is unusual these days, the member of staff then explained where ever4was and how it all worked. We had asked if another bed was possible, this was not availability but we were immediately supplied with additional bedding so one of us could sleep on the settee if desired. Everything was very clean and in good order. Kitchen very well equipped . Comfortable beds.
