The natural heritage feeling and view is there, spacious rooms but the hotel really needs some improvements especially on the paints, the swimming pool area - as it has wooden floors, some of the woods were lose and dangerous for people to walk on. The staff in breakfast place are so friendly but food quality could be better. There should have been 2 towels for hand and floor in the room and cups at least to drink hot drinks. Hope Amara Sanctuary Resort Sentosa would improve on these areas to remain competitive to other newer hotels around in Sentosa. Else it would not justify the price.

Do not try using the QR code to book the buggy, it never appears or uses it to lodge a complaint. We can hear at least 2 rooms were blasting music at 11pm until almost 1am. When the room above us was using the rain shower at 12am, it sounds like drilling. It happened the same when we were using it the next day. With all those constant noises, it affected our rest during our stay. If you need any request, as per the concierge counter, we should have call them instead of using the QR code. So what the point of informing us to use it during our check in process. The direct access pool and our room is very low maintained. The floor is dusty, dirty and with stain. Ceiling fan covered with dust. The only good point is the aircon temperature is adjustable and cold.

Check in was a disaster. Front desk took 30mins to process my booking. I waited from 2.15pm to 2.45pm. Room was only ready at 4pm. Check out time is 12noon. Requested for connecting room but didn't get it. Understand that it ' s on request basis only. Requested for baby tub but was not in the room when we check in. Tried calling front desk. The line will always get through and put on speaker mode but no reply. We can hear everything at the check in counter including confidential information of guests. We can hear that even at 5pm, front desk was telling people room is not ready and giving everyone complimentary drinks vouchers. Fridge in room is not cold and not suitable to keep breastmilk. Family room is located at another locked compound where everytime you need to go in and out, someone need to go to front desk and request to open the gate. As stated before, phone line always go into speaker mode where no one reply but we can hear everything at check in counter. The driver of buggy forgot to pull hand brake and the buggy reversed and almost run over my husband with baby. Service was non existence. At 4pm was told room is ready and they will send luggage to room. Waited an hour, luggage didn't come. We need to feed babies. They honestly told us that they are short of manpower and if we want fast we have to do it ourselves. So my husband became bellboy moving luggage with the hotel trolley. What an experience.

Hotel couldn't locate my booking record when I checked in. After showing them the app voucher on my phone, I was assigned to a wrong room type. I had to walk back to reception to ask them to check again, and after much discussion, I was finally assigned the couple room with direct access to the pool. The whole process took more than an hour, and then it started to rain and the rest of the day I was stuck in the room. No point trying to call anyone from the room, be it reception or concierge or even in room dining. No one answer the calls!

We had a pleasant stay in Amara Sanctuary. The staff were warm and friendly. And the rooms were big and spacious. The breakfast was good as well. The resort was surrounded by nature and colonial buildings which was nice and refreshing to look at. Issues we faced were the bathroom door being jammed but was quickly remedied by the technician. Thank you. Though I think this should have been checked before the room was passed to us. Another issue we faced is the lack of food around the area later at night. A vending machine or something would be good. Else do bring some snacks along.

It was a quiet stay away from the city, not as crowded as the other hotels I have been to. Carpark is a little far but OK for ya, check in was fast, room at level 2 a little of a walk but OK for us too. Generally clean rooms though furniture are dated but in working condition. I love true baby cot they prepared for us. Housekeeping services ought to be a little more prompt. I ask for hand towels but it never came. But generally still a good day, easy to book facilities like pool. Will be back!

I did not get the seaview room that I requested for, instead was given the partial seaview when half of it was blocked by the trees although it wasn't a last minute booking. Called multiple times on check-in day to ask for an early check in but all the calls wasn't answered to. Check in was smooth but to our disbelief the condition of the room was atrocious. The window panes has algae all over and the walls of the room was very dirty with black marks all over the walls. The sofa was also dirty with very visible stains which we wasn't sure what is it. The bathtub has obvious dust lying around with algae seen around the area too. Picture shown online was not a reflection of the real condition of the resort. In the picture there ' s a balcony shown but when enquired with staff, they told that it was only for illustration purpose which already disappoint the customers the first thing when we reach there which does not reflect well on the reputation of the resort. The room service which we had to scan the QR code was also not paid attention too as we weren't given any new towels when we requested. The room phone was also spoilt which left us with no way to contact the staff and we had to go down back to the concierge area just to request for new towels. I wouldn't recommend anyone to visit this resort and this will be the last time we will patronize this resort.

The only perk is that we do not need to book the pool as the Terrance units have a pool attached. Otherwise, everything seems run down, wooden planks lose, paths not well lit at night.

Housekeeping was OK I think, we didn't have any issues with the cleanliness. But I think for the price paid, we could have went for a better hotel in town.

For the price, the facilities and room standards was very disappointing. The price is equivalent to a 5 star hotel anywhere around the world. The feedback are:—-No complimentary welcome drink. No small face towel. Basin was splattered with water but no towel to wipe. Instant coffee packet is not acceptable. At least a capsule coffee machine. No breakfast included was another setback because the price would easily cover the breakfast considering the distance to go to a nearest food center. Please consider my French to improve the hotel standards.

No complaints about the accommodation and amenities. Everything met expectations but the break fast was very disappointing quality wise. The Shuffle restaurant was empty on our visit and the complimentary breakfast was either the Shuffle Breakfast platter (scrambled eggs platter) or Nasi Lemak or Pancakes. We took the platter and breakfast was presented very well (Instagram worthy) but taste and quality were left wanting. Scrambled eggs tasted reconstituted and cold, baked beans tasted sourish and"off", generous bacon portion was similarly"sourish". Hash browns and side breakfast salad were the saving grace. The lime juice had an astringent taste. Coffee was OK. Overall the breakfast was far below par.

Although fast to serve me, the front desk did not receive my request for early check in. I reached around 1.30 to 2. Then the receptionist started processing and passed me the welcome drink and carpark coupon, saying I can have a drink while waiting for a room to be ready but not guiding me how to get to the shutters restaurant. I wasn't fully packed, so I was dragging a luggage and a pair of shoes, and no offer was made to keep my luggage at the concierge. After my drink he brought my keycard and I went to the room, only to find out the phone wasn't working at all. The housekeeping lady outside was nice to help me alert the front desk and the same receptionist came up to only ask me to call this number for any requests using my own phone, and explained that the system is down due to a lightning strike-a week ago. TV had several channels missing as well. Upon check out at 10am, there was nobody at the front desk for a few minutes. I looked around and a lady was ferrying a family, probably from the villas. She saw me and quickly parked and tended to me. Whilst I do not think it is the fault of the staff completely, I think the management of the hotel on Sentosa island can be better. Please do better to represent us to our visitors. Thank you.

Location is awesome and I love the view from my balcony but I was only able to check in at 5pm (instead of 3pm & I even requested for early check in). Room was considerably low-maintained and there were only 4 towels in the bathroom. Hygiene level can be better during this covid period.
