After our Easter stay, we are back at MO for another stay on the eve of National Day. Due to the rescheduling of the National Day performance till 21 Aug, a ceremonial parade was held on the morning of National Day instead and as a result it became a bonus for us as we are able to sight the floating platform from our room. MO service continues to be top notch but the front desk staff appeared to be overwhelmed. While the bedroom is in need of some refurbishment, it was kept clean and comfortable. The button of the toilet bowl flush probably needs a fixing as it was tough to push down. It was another great stay at MO and I understand that MO will be supporting the stay home notice scheme and will be closed to the staycation guests the next day following our check out. Likely to be back soon following its opening.

It was an awesome experience staying with MO, all the staff are very friendly and cheerful - from front door greeting to the receiption to the dining setup to the housekeeping to the swimming pool! When we provided feedback they all will act on immediately. The dinner from MO bar was awesome! We were thrilled to see the presentation despite it was in room dining setup! Seafood platter was fresh and the sauce was amazing, loving all the mains too and the Grand Cru Chocolate dessert! Though there was a little miscommunication on our change of the breakfast reservation the person I spoke to on the phone tried her best to expedite our breakfast for us. We feedback on the lift noise and there is a personal call after we check out from the manager to check on us if we are OK! Thank you for all the personal touch and care rendered to us during our stay! I must say the view is fantastic! We will be back! Too bad the NDP preview was cancelled due to the current situation if not it will be a perfect spot to watch in our room!

The family enjoyed our 3D2N stay because of the personalised service, staff professionalism, variety of breakfast food and comfortable room which looked exactly as in the website except that they gave us twin beds instead of king bed so my husband and I had to sleep separately. Nevertheless, we plan to return as we really like the pool and the ambience of the hotel.

Stayed 3D2N in Mandarin Oriental for my honeymoon staycation. My husband and I were very thankful that one of our nights (we made 2 separate bookings, 1 deluxe and 1 ocean view) got upgraded from deluxe to ocean view for free. The view from the room was magnificent but the room was outdated for a 5 star hotel in 2020s. We have been hotel hopping for honeymoon so I'm comparing MO room to 5 other local 5 star hotels rooms which we had stayed thus far. Cons: No bidet, no complimentary mini bar (2 bottles of Taping Tapir drinks were given though), no Nespresso machine in the room, no pillow menu option, complimentary breakfasts were not included in the package. Pros: Complimentary chocolate given (for our special occasion), room was spacious, carpeted flooring in the room and throughout the hotel, water heating system in the room was efficient, cosy bathrobe and bedroom slipper, awesome view from room and pool, relaxing and big pool, attentive staffs, nice lunch buffet from Melt Cafe, responsive sales team, turndown and room service was awesome, gave a complimentary picture during check out. Overall, will return to stay for the breathtaking view and pool and if the price is reasonable.
