Our second time at this resort. The staffs are friendly and attentive as usual. Even though the pool area is under maintenance now but we were given access to villa pool or Spa Pool as other alternatives. Due to the heightened alert, no full dining menu was available but the selection is still good. We will be back for third time

6-Star Hotel! Really amazing ambience. Smooth check-in (don't forget to ask for the welcome drink coupon if the staff forgets). Comfortable quiet room. Shower that is powerful and has adjustable warm water. Welcome pack of hand sanitizer, antiseptic wipes etc. Really yummy food for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner - you can just stay in the hotel the whole day. KweeZeen for Breakfast & Lunch. The Cliff for Dinner. Would come back!

Main problem is the bath water pressure which is quite weak compared to other singaporean hotel. Other than that, the food is extremely great. Room and hotel environment are just as expected for the price. Getting in and out of the hotel using mass transit might be a minor negative point.

Not up to standard of Accor's hotel. I visited the hotel on my birthday for family celebration. I booked Prestige Suite. The room is not ready until 4pm, thanks to Ms. Clara provide smaller room for me and family to rest. The room is a bit outdated and many detail are deteriorated, one phone is not working. The Guest relation officer is very poor, unlike other Accor hotels that I visited during special day, They didn't do extra miles to pay more attention to guests. For me not even a birthday wishes that they can simply include in the TV board or simple card. Probably I'm expecting too much. I visited Sofitel City Center few days after this visit to celebrate my wife 's birthday and it was very different and up to Accor 's standard. Separately my wife requested for other amenities from Lanvin but housekeeping said it's no longer available. However we saw that the housekeeping cart has some of them. At the end the housekeeping only provide basic in house brand amenities for prestige suite guest-not worth paying for it. Probably this will be my last time to stay in Sofitel Sentosa. I have tried to stay 3 time in the last 2 months, but not much improvement. Even the 4 stars hotel can do much better job. Too bad.

Check-In Time: 3pm. I arrived at the resort at 3.30pm, saw a long queue of people at the reception and thought that it was for those checking out. But I was shocked to find out that it was for checking in. Queued for 20 mins and gave up, so we asked how long do we have to wait because the current queue that I was in, was held up by the 1st couple in queue. Managed to get the attention of one of their receptionists, was told us that she will be able to check us in first but the room is not ready. I was OK with it at first, told her that I will just hang around the resort to wait. Went back to her at 4.45pm, the room is still not ready. Told her beforehand that we have a dinner reservation at 5pm, she said that we can go have dinner first. Thank god we're able to put our luggage at their storage place. In the midst of dinner, received a call at about 5.30pm that my room is ready for collection. That ' s like 2hrs after I've arrived. Maybe they are short handed, but I do not think that the guests should be held responsible as we are required to wait for 2hrs just for our room to be given to us. * the resort is in the middle of the beach area, there's no shopping mall etc, we can't just place their things in the resort and head to elsewhere that easily. Additionally, we are not dressed in the appropriate attire as we left our luggage with the resort assuming that we will get our room before 5pm * Came back at about 7.30pm, collected our keys and was told that our luggage will be delivered now. Guess what? And I wasn't even surprised at all because we waited for 45 mins to receive our items. We stayed in the room for 45 mins just to get our luggage. Called the receptionist for 5 times to request bottled water because it was humid that day that we finished up the provided water. No answers at all. I will definitely not head back to this resort for another staycation. One thing for sure for Julia, the receptionist, she is a really patient and nice lady helping us out despite having to walk up and down non- stop during the check in process.

Our 2 stay night at Sofitel Sentosa was very pleasant. Our 3 kids had a great time there. It 's a little pricey but least we had all our meals provided for at no extra charge, plus the staff was very friendly and made sure we had our needs met. My only criticism is that you need to walk up and down a long flight of stairs to get to the nearest beach, which can be quite tiring if you're with little children, otherwise this is just a small inconvenience.

Service was underwhelming and lacking. Little to no information is given from pre-check-in all the way to check out. I needed to find out information from various staff at different times and as there was no follow-up on my queries such as check-in/out timing and booking of meals and facilities. Food at the kweezeen restaurant was underwhelming as well. But The cliff restaurant was really good. Was surprised by the big difference in food quality. The location of the hotel is very good as it is very close to Tanjong Beach and made accessible by the walkway. Enjoyed using the complimentary bicycles to explore Sentosa Island too. The concierge was very helpful.

The booking details on the app did not state that there is surcharge for dining at “The Cliff” for dinner. And the front desk staff ' s explanation on the dining options was confusing and not detailed enough. If the terms and conditions were printed out or briefly written down for the guests, it would have made quite a difference. In addition to that, most of the hotel staff didn't appear hospitable except a few staff at the concierge and “The Cliff”. There were a few encounters that portrays the staff are not very hospitable. For example, when we were seated for dinner at the “Kwee Zen”, only drinking water was offered. We had to ask another staff for the available drinks. In fact I do suggest to offer guests a wine/cocktail list. My husband and I would have ordered a bottle of wine to celebrate our wedding anniversary (even though it ' s chargeable). Another encounter was, when my husband and I wanted to grab a drink at “LeBar” at around 9.45pm, the staff initially appeared to reject our entry, saying the bar is already closing. We understand the bar closes at 10.30pm but we only wanted a quick drink. On the bright side, the staff eventually showed us to a table and his attitude was much better before we left the bar. But still we felt that the initial approach should have been friendlier. Another example would be when I was queuing up at the egg station at the “Kwee Zeen” during breakfast, the chef at the station suddenly raised his voice and said, “Faster!”, seemingly to one of the service staff. Initially I thought the chef was trying to tell me to haste up, but even though he wasn't, I don't think it ' s very professional to reprimand a fellow colleague in front of the hotel guests. Throughout our stay, only one staff bothered to ask how was our stay/dinner at the “Kwee Zeen” and it was the Hostess at “The Cliff” where we had our lunch. Thankfully, all the staff at the restaurant are significantly more hospitable and my husband and I would like to compliment all of them. If we knew the dining experience would be so much better; We would have willingly paid for the surcharge for dinner the night before. Overall the service standard is mediocre. It was quite a disappointing experience as my husband and I were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We didn't expect any special treatment but we did expect to feel more welcomed. We truly just want to share our experience during our stay. My husband and I most likely will not stay at Sofitel Sentosa again and it is unlikely that we would recommend our family or friends to stay there either. Thank you.

Took resort shuttle bus in from Harbourfront Exit D. As room was not yet ready at 1pm, staff suggested that we had lunch at Cliff first while waiting as part of the hotel's package. Lunch was a awesome 2-course menu with great service! Dinner was buffet at Kwee Zen and in contrast was very forgettable. Did not even serve laksa/fried rice/nasi lemak, just mostly fried items and seems cheap, machine coffee is chargeable. Breakfast next day was much better in terms of variety. Besides the dinner, the room was great, the bed was super comfortable and we enjoyed our time!

Amazing and enjoyable stay with good service and good food. We stayed 2 nights with the full board package, having 2 meals at the Cliff, 2 meals and breakfast at Kwee Zeen. We arrived slightly before before 2pm, and were allowed to check in early, and were in fact upgraded to a luxury garden room. Every meal that we had was good, with all staff being very polite and helpful. A special shout-out to Jason, a staff at the Cliff, who complemented the amazing food (best Italian food we've had in Singapore) with great service, to give us an exemplary dining experience. Overall, a 10 out of 10 experience. Definitely will return for another staycation one day.
