Hotel Thomas Myeongdong

Check-in staff were very friendly, helpful with inquiries/directions and also spoke English. The location of the hotel is walking distance from the Myeongdong Walking Street with easy access to the underground shopping mall which also provides direct access to the the Lotte Mall and also close to bus lines. The hotel was surrounded by other hotels and building complexes so there really isn't much of a view from our room however the hotel amenities (breakfast, coffee shop, fitness center and laundry self service) were sufficient and met our needs. The room was larger then expected and appreciated supply of bathroom toiletries (body wash/shampoo). Housekeeping staff were also very friendly and responsive. There was also a money exchange dispenser in the hotel lobby which was very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend to our friends and family. They have a sign at the front desk to say that they take bed bugs seriously. So that was a plus point especially bed bugs are going around. There are like cafe/ restaurants just outside the hotel and 2 seven eleven. It’s walkable to Namdaemun market (maybe about 10mins for us) and about 15 mins walk to myeongdong. Which is pretty good. Their staff were friendly and if you like coffee, the locals go to the hotel lobby cafe to get coffee so it should be good. Post office is nearby too (5min) if you need to ship your loots home. But note that they are closed on Saturdays (including the hotel cafe) Honestly we would go back to this hotel next time. It’s pretty convenient.

Great location to transportation, restaurants and shops. The room was quiet and clean. I would stay here again.
