Stayed here a few years back and it was excellent. This time was a little disappointed. Room was not up to a 5 star hotel. On arrival tv didn’t work and room as awfully hot. Bathroom outdated. However, food at the restaurant was excellent and so was service. Thy got things taken care of very professionally.

Great couple of days. Good food, better wine and top quality spa. And the room was clean, nice and cozy. It even have full blinds! Only small area of improvement, most rooms are in the aisle communicating with restaurant so it can be a little noisy during the early morning. Also, emergency light in the room was too bright during the night.

during the harvest the winery is extremely busy! a stroll in the wineyard was a highlight for us. The modern building lacks character and although quite new, maintenance could be better. free wine tour at 17:00 daily is exclusively in Spanish. Free minibar is a nice touch. you can rent a bike for 5 Euro per hour - money well spent! Traditional restaurant onsite is OK + , unfortunately the choice for vegetarians is very limited...

El hotel solo tiene un solo lugar para comer. Esta lejos de Peñafiel, como a 15 -20 minutos en auto. No hay servicio de taxis, el hotel recomienda a un taxista que cobra caro por el servicio . Un viaje al Castillo Peñafiel cobra 40 euros. Cuando llamamos al hotel para pedir información nunca contestaron y tampoco por correo electrónico. El servicio es pobre.
