Great location. Rooms were comfy and the staff was super warm.

For the price, very decent hotel. Rooms are on the smaller side as expected. Breakfast has a variety of options. Overall, very happy with the stay.

Great location and complimentary breakfast. The bed was too soft for our liking however and the room would benefit from black out curtains.

Hotel Rex is a decent hotel in a convenient location. It provides a wide choice of food at breakfast. It doesn't provide extra facilities, but that is fine because it delivered what I expected. My room was comfortable and the staff were friendly.

Loved our stay. Staff was great and helpful. Extremely convenient location. Room was a bit small but clean. Breakfast was included. Great and generous selection. Hotel offers free coffee, tea outside of breakfast.

Property is an old but renovated building that is charming. It is on a quiet side street across a bigger sister hotel with the gym, sauna and restaurant. There is no thru traffic on this street. It feels like a pedestrian lane. Room - I stayed in a small single room, and it was very small, but adequate for my last minute short stay. It was clean and bathroom was designed in a way that didn't feel too cramped, but the shower was an interesting wet-bath type arrangement. Mattress was old and can sense the coils inside - needs to be updated. Need blackout curtains. Room overlooked inner courtyard and has good natural light and working window. Location - Excellent, immediately next to metro line which easily connects you all over very easily. Easy to learn metro system. Area has restaurants and grocery and some shopping but not in main busy downtown neighborhood. However, it is walkable to there if you wish. Service - staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and well stocked. If you have to leave early they will make you a breakfast box. BUT you have to order it the night before which no one told me. The desk is not attended at night and you get in with your key, but the desk at the sister hotel across the lane IS attended 24h. There is an elevator!

The room was compact but very nice. The hotel is well located - away from touristy areas but in an area with many good restaurants. The hotel itself includes a wee acquainted breakfast in the room fee - and across the street is a sister hotel with a bar. The overall feel and vibe is fabulous. Far exceeded my expectations.

Really comfy bed, great distance from the city centre and very affordable. Staff were friendly and our stay included a free breakfast every morning. Some noise could be heard from street below and from other rooms.

The staff was super friendly, helpful, accommodating and fantastic. Excellent for the price. Room is a bit small and basic/no frills but perfect for my needs. Nice bathrooms with good shower and clean soft towels, clean sheets and soft comfortable bed. Central location, easy, convenient, clean, good breakfast, was able to get parking. Comfortable overall. Good number of plug outlets and watched tv. Very happy with my stay.

Quaint, cozy, well-located small hotel a block from T station. Delicious breakfast. Exceptionally quiet.

Centrally located, within east walking distance of everything, with very good public transport also. Small rooms, but very well run, with excellent service and lots of character and extremely good value for money.

The ont thing i dislike is the very small size of the room and bathroom

If I'm ever back in Stockholm I would stay here. Love the people. They are very helpful and expect to go the second mile for their patrons. The hotel is clean and pleasant, and my room was comfortable and convenient. The breakfast has plenty of delicious choices for anyone with enough hours to serve yourself. They even produced decaf coffee for me. They are within walking distance of most places you might want to go, or at least, they were for me.

I had a room at the front of the hotel. It was large (I'm sure there are smaller rooms but this one, first floor, really good), two twin beds, shower room, desk, chairs and side tables. Clean and quiet - you can hear the jazz club on a Thursday evening and people walking past occasionally, but it nothing much and I slept like a log. Good continental breakfast with some cooked stuff also, fruit, pastries, lots of coffee. All good. It was an excellent base for exploring the city - the walk to the Medieval Museum near the harbour front, say, took me about 25 mins and I'm not a fast walker. Everyone who I met working there was friendly and wanted to make sure everything was okay. In the area there are lots of cafes and a couple of supermarkets, and a metro station just nearby, and interesting shops in the back lanes near the hotel that do painting restoration and sewing, second hand bookshops and things like that - really interesting. I wanted somewhere just like this as a comfortable place to stay and would be totally happy to go again.

A good place to stay for the price as it is cheaper than a lot of hotels in Stockholm. Location is very good, very close to the metro station and around a 20-30 minute walk to Gamla Stan. The hotel was very clean and we were able to check in with the hotel opposite (same company) as we didn’t arrive into Stockholm till after midnight. The room looked a bit unfinished in terms of decoration, but overall was a clean and comfy place to stay. I would recommend this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again!

Very nice and quite hotel with excellent location

Truly a "find"! They were ready to help in every way. Rooms are large and very well appointed. Sister hotel across the street has a great bar. Breakfast is incredible. Location in city but quiet street. Very very nice! Would for sure stay there again.

A good stay - stand out were the hospitable front desk at Hotel Hellesten across the street who helped me check in on day 1. The breakfast bar was good too.

Very helpful staff. My train was delayed in arriving as lightning had struck a bridge but the person I phoned was extremely helpful and reassuring, explaining how to check-in if arriving after 10pm. The breakfast was very good with the possibility to sit outside. The location is not a problem as Stockholm is very walkable - there is also a metro station around the corner. There are good restaurants nearby, some really good Indian restaurants. Staff were very pleasant and helpful and there are tea and coffee making facilities in the reception area.
