Fantastically convenient for a late train arrival in the area and for buses to the ski are a the next day. Clean and pleasant accomodation, a good breakfast with a view, and helpful staff. Had some elevator work going on when I was there so was stairs only but not a problem.

Can’t praise this hotel enough. Just across the road from the bus and railway station, this hotel was so convenient and nice.
The room was small but fine for a single person, really nice decor and very warm and cosy.
The breakfast had a good selection and they even had tea which was very much appreciated.
If you’re going to Visp I highly recommend the Baxter!

The Baxter Hotel was a lovely experience. The room was clean & comfortable … and spacious … with a great balcony which overlooked the town. The bathroom was updated with style. The proximity to the train station was perfect for us … as was the location to shops and cafes.

This was such a find. Right across road from train and bus station. It had a balcony overlooking Main Street. Super spacious room and great bed. Really decent breakfast and well priced for this part of Switzerland. Also I was able to get into my room early at no extra cost. Perfect.

We stayed here to go Zermatt, so it's perfect. Clean, convenient, located in the only busy street (not noisy but with restaurants) and next to the train station. The room was comfortable and breakfast is good.

Clean, modern, nicely situated. Air conditioning works well. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Lots of shopping all around the hotel. Parking is a little confusing when arriving, since it's off-site.
