Not many food establishments nearby. On some nights, spent at Louisa Cafe, 3 mins walk from hotel. This hotel location is close to Taipei Zoo and Taipei 101 via the public bus. Lots of 7-11 stores near the hotel. Hotel room is spacious, fully equip, very new and facilities are top notch. Recommended, if distance to city is not a concern. Good times!

Located just beside the expressway, travelling via private transport is convenient. Many public buses available, not near train station though. Area is not noisy during the night time, not scary too as there are some shops that are closed late. The hotel lobby is welcoming, there is refreshments provided for guests at the lobby area. Hotel room provided is luxurious and comfortable, extra pillows available. Hot water supply for shower is consistent — love this especially during the winter season. Really enjoyed that there is warmer on the toilet seat and also warm water for hand washing sink and bidet available. Many lifts available for guests usage, don’t have to wait too long. Walking distance to a few dining options around the location. Many choices of convenience stores available too. Breakfast provided has decent variety, so-so in the taste though. Disappointed that staffs were pushy to chase guests away near the breakfast ending time. Staffs are generally friendly, but frequent missing out that we are booked as 4 pax in the double room and we always have to ask for extra towels despite making special request before. Front desk is nice to call daily to ask if housekeeping is needed for the day. Good experience generally. Enjoyed the stay!

Fiendly enviroment, staff traditionally very polite, Breakfast very good buffet style large selection. Being a New Zealander english is my language. The staff generally speak good english and communicate well. Shenkeng was convenient to Nang Gang trade centre only afew minites by taxi. Shenkeng (New Taipei) is some distance from central Taipei as only has traditional restaurants serving locals. So for meals little choice other than Hotel....expensive. Would I BOOK FRO NEXT YEARS SHOW ....SURE.

It would be great if the reception desk staff is more helpful (i.e. help to get a taxi since it is difficult to get a taxi in that area).

The worn-out upholstery on the chair in the room was an ongoing eyesore that we tried to hide behind a throw-pillow. The housekeeping staff did not wear masks when working in peoples' rooms. These kinds of things made us say: "It was adequate for this trip, but there is nothing enticing us to return (other than the attentiveness of the lobby/desk staff).

The room size was vey comfortable and roomie with a separate kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. However, transportation wise there is not much options to use the train except to take a taxi to the station as it's not close enough to walk to. There is not transportation to the airport or from the airport except by taxi or a whole bunch of transfers by train however you'd still need to take a taxi from the train to the hotel. There is no local shuttle to take you anywhere either. The room itself is very nice.

This Hotel is beautiful and the staff are great, the rooms are very well appointed. However this is not a business hotel. There is no bar, the food is poor and the hotel caters mainly for large tour groups.

Great price for business traveler who doesn't want to pay 5-star hotel within Taipei city but look for a nice hotel close to Taipei. This hotel locates 15 minutes to Taipei 101 by taxi. Hotel is pretty new and in great condition.

Even-though there is a shuttle-bus service to the downtown area (in hourly base). It's a bit far if you are going to Taipei for sight-seeing, we have to take taxi home at night. You better have a car or unless you know the bus route very well. And when we asked for recommendation from the front desk how to get to the airport from the hotel, he just simply gave me a reply, "Take a taxi"....

We arrived at the hotel around 11:30pm and the front desk staff said he could not see our reservation. He insisted that he could not let us stay and he could not contact hotel.com to check on our confirmation because it was very late at night already. I realize that i have the confirmation email from hotel.com. After he said it, he let us check it. He came back saying that the room we booked us not available and would upgrade us into a suite. Apparently they overbooked the rooms that day. The suite was old and dirty. There were dusts on the tables and floor. The bathroom is smelly. I would say that this hotel room is more like 1.5 star hotel room instead of 3 stars.

Hotel location is not not bad, Friendly Staffs. You have to take a bus just in front of hotel to Taipei City Hall or Taipei Central. To goto Zoo it is only 2 to 3 stops. Amenties like Sauna, Swimming pool, Gym is quiet perfect. Breakfast - Depends on individual preference, I liked it. Use always Bus stops and route it is not written in English try to know Bus # from Hotel reception. Suggestion to Hotel : To avoid stinky smell, Hotel management MUST install fragrance sprayer at all Lift Lobbies and also inside the lift. Massage is not available in this hotel.

This hotel standard lives up to more than 3 stars. Only the location and no wi-fi in the rooms lowers the review. Room standard is very great, and support at the reception is very good.

A little out of the way unless u want to visit the zoo. The room was very clean and comfortable! No free wifi and pool and hot tub closed for the season. Took a while to check us in seems like they had the paperwork messed up but was only a few minute delay. Overall very nice and comfortable staff was very nice and assisted where they could!
