Best Western Plus Hawthorne Terrace Hotel

Nice room and amenities.

Not your grandma’s Best Western! This hotel is a hidden gem. We stayed in the suites, which are in an adjacent building. Super clean, comfy bed and good space to work. Highly recommend. The only downside is the not-so-special breakfast. Find a good diner on your own. There are plenty!

Comfortable stay

The staff were either vapid or very rude. Not clean rooms,the rooms don't look as advertised. The parking fee is ridiculous and non conducive to hosting guests.

Everyone was very kind, the only bad part is how expensive is the parking everywhere in the area .

This is an excellent hotel that is within walking distance of Wrigley Field. (We went to a MSU-Wisconsin hockey game.) The hotel is very clean, the rooms spacious and just a very nice hotel. Plus, it has an excellent breakfast. We will be coming back here for a Cubs baseball game.

Fantastic place to stay (clean and well maintained), breakfast included (small area, but good), walking distance to Wrigley Field, plenty of great dining options up and down N. Broadway. I would definitely consider using this property again.

It’s a quaint hotel, super convenient for us. The staff & housekeeping were so nice as well! Our only complaint was that the HVAC unit & the bathroom exhaust fan were really loud, which was annoying, but we would definitely stay again! This was our second visit. Happy New Year!

The hotel, service and location were fantastic. Close to Wrigley for the NHL Winter Classic game. Everything was great for the 3 nights we stayed, except for checking out this morning to make the 3.5 hour trek home and finding that someone had cut the catalytic converter off my Sonata in the hotel's parking lot. Made for an obscenely loud drive home. Not a great way to start the new year, but outside of the car vandalism, Best Western Hawthorne Terrace is a great place.

When we stayed, the hotel was still being remodeled. With the exception of breakfast, we never felt inconvenienced. Rooms were really comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly. The hotel is in a great part of town. Overall, our visit was a great experience. We'll definitely stay there again

A friend and I stayed at the Best Western Plus Hawthorne Place in early September for 5 nights. We absolutely loved it. We stayed in one of the suites. There was one private bedroom and another bed in an alcove. We had a kitchen with mini fridge and microwave and a living area with a big screen tv. There were tvs in each "bedroom". The shower had both a rain showerhead and a hand held one. We both loved that. I would recommend that the hotel have larger waste baskets in the bathrooms. My traveling companion suffered from urinary incontinence and the can was overflowing every day. The staff was very accommodating. When we arrived a lovely gentleman directed us to the best parking spot and helped unload our luggage and took it to our room. It took 2 trips. We had a lot of stuff. The neighborhood was very walkable. Just a couple of blocks from Lake Michigan and about a half mile from Wrigley Field. Lyft drivers are everywhere. Most times we got a ride in about a minute and we only waited 5 minutes for a ride after a game at Wrigley. There are quite a few good places to grab a meal in the area. We ate several times at a local bar a block away. Food was good and atmosphere was fun. The free breakfast was waffles, cinnamon rolls, etc. I really enjoyed our stay and I look forward to staying there again the next time I travel for Cubs baseball.

It is very clean, had every we needed. Perfect for what we needed it for. Very close to everything just a small drive away to more downtown, but lots to around there. I would not recommend the cinnamon rolls though they are like a day old but the breakfast they have is perfect, nice spa area and workout and sauna. Water pressure was one of the best we have started at besides our home. And the beds were comfy.

I was pleasantly surprised by this property. I would have rated my stay at 5.0 except for the outrageous noise coming from the 4th floor room above me that went on until 1 am. It started again at 7am. I found out from a hotel worker the room was being renovated. Why would this be happening at these hours? Why would you put a guest in a room below or next to this renovation??

The shower was lukewarm and the breakfast was just fair. The room was nice and location.

Great breakfast options. Walking distance to Wrigley. Plenty of local (walkable) places to eat and grab coffee!

Love this property! Such a convenient location in the middle of the Lakeview area of Chicago. Shopping and many excellent restaurants within walking distance. Room/bed is very comfortable! I will definitely book this property again on a future trip to the area.

This is a nice hotel, in a great area. Staff was friendly and responsive. Lots of great places to eat and things to do and see nearby.
