Great stay and staff went above and beyond even though expedia check in was a complete disaster

When booking this stay at this property, the only thing that was mentioned was that there would be a possible noise during the day for construction. the entire first floor was boarded up. you could not enjoy the view at all when dining, working out, sitting at the fire in the lobby, etc. our room had no hot water in the sink, the shower had brown water, the refrigerator did not work, the carpet was disgusting, there was BLOOD on the corner of the boxspring. It was late when we arrived and we were tire, we dealt with it that first night. I asked for a different rm, &we were moved to a ply wood boarded up view for the remainder of our trip!!! QUITE UNHAPPY DISPEASED CUSTOMER!!! no bay view, which is what I requested and neither of our 2 rooms looked anythning like the online pictures! quite deceiving!

Absolutely beautiful place. Don’t believe any negative reviews. It’s clean and on a lovely location.

Main pool and pool bar closed. Was charged an extra $200 at check in on top of deposit and still awaiting refund

The manager Marcus is completely unprofessional. I’ve called for 5 weeks attempting to resolve the $200 incidental fee that we never received back and was actually hung up on after being interrupted multiple times.

Property in poor condition. Pool chairs dirty. Cracks in pool deck. Very limited dining options for an inconvenient location. Resort fee for a basic hotel. Carpet in room dirty.

Very nice staff

The overall facility was clean and nice however the lady at front desk gave us the wrong set of cards for the door to our room on two occasions having us wait a few extra hours before we could get into the room. For the 6 night stay that we were there we had no cable/internet service for the TV. They were finally able to get someone out on night 4. The housekeepers never entered our room the entire stay and I constantly had to go to front desk to get coffee for the room. This is a service I guess you have to request at the front desk daily. Two of the three restaurants were closed the entire trip. Lastly at the end of our stay, we were charged an extra $244. We booked via Hotels.com and was never informed by them or the resort that there would be extra expenses especially when you didn’t use their services such as the restaurant. - hidden expenses by the resort. All expenses are charged to the room, however we didn’t use any. So for anyone trying to book just know that the price is not the price- the resort will charge you an extra fee of $34 daily to stay there at the end.

Cabana cafe closes at 5:00 PM and there is only one vending Mac with no water in it. Use the water bottle machine that gives lukewarm water. No coffee in your lobby for guests? Was told it’s off season. Do I care? I’m still a paying client. I asked for my room to be cleaned and was willing to pay for it. It wasn’t done. I had to do it myself and ask for more coffee each day. I felt like I was the one doing the housekeeping and btw, Ricardo tried to be helpful but was lacking. Props to the night housekeeper to give me more trash bags and bringing me coffee for my last 2 days. I didn’t like having to go to the gas station at 6:00 AM to get a cup of coffee instead of enjoying this nice resort that I paid money for.

The room had a dirty mirror and a few pieces of hair on the floor of the shower. The staff was really polite and friendly but the wait time for drinks was horrible. At flip flops me and my husband had already finished our meals by the time his one drink got to him. The karaoke was so fun! The serenity spa was absolutely awesome. Had a massage and was put into a universe of relaxation. The spa itself was amazing and the staff was out of this world. The spa was the best part of the trip. Everything about it was everything i could have wished for.

Amazing property on the bay! Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, nice pools, good food and beautiful setting!

It was the best location for our family to really rest and relax. There were so many options of things for us to do. We will be going back!

Not a elegant hotel at all Very mediocre. Pictures make it look much more classy than it is.

I reserved top floor water view private balcony. They gave us a room with shared balcony space on the first floor next too pool area with loud music playing all night

This place was one of the worst vacation properties I have ever stayed at. First off they have all these amenities that you can supposedly use, such as a sauna, whirpool, and steam room, but when you call to book it they ask if you are an owner ( its a timeshare property) and make it really difficult to use any of the "extra" amenities. Next, we payed a fair amount for 3 nights to be stck in a tiny room overlooking a parking lot, the air conditioner barely worked. The settings were freezing cold or stuffy and hot. We were on the 3rd floor, and it was raining pretty hard one of the days we were there. There was water pouring from the ceiling in the hall by our room onto the carpet, and no one ever did anything about it. Our room also had water damage on the celing, and cracks and chips in the funiture. Everything was just very sub- par. It is also pretty far away from the real beach and other fun things to do. I would not stay here again.
