Beautiful room with beautiful views of NYC. The chilled purified water dispensers in the hallways are a lifesaver. The staff is also very friendly. Best of all, they upgraded my basic room to a premium (with a balcony) for $25.

Had to make a last minute booking due to a cancelled flight. My room smelled of a harsh chemical. I asked several times for a room change, kept being told someone was coming to clean the room. Someone came hours later to spray air freshener, which only made it worse. I asked again to be moved, was told someone was coming to move me to another room. They never came, and after repeated calling, I finally fell asleep around 2am to get up at 4 for my 6a flight. Asked to speak to a manager at check out, was told one would call me...still waiting.

Great hotel in a great location. Easy to get to any train line, tons of restaurants and shopping, walking distance to Brooklyn Bridge, Chinatown, Little Italy. Highly recommend.

The hospitality was not that great when I came to stay at this hotel. I had a nice room view because I requested it but upon check-in we were not given much attention or information. We were not told about any rules or amenities either. Housekeeping did not check on our room or make our beds either and we weren't informed from the start if that is or isn't the case. We were just left clueless. Also the hotel is in an okay spot, but it requires a bit of walking around to get to the main road depending on the direction you're going,

Excellent location and great transport links. The room was a good size with a fantastic view over the WTC and the 9/11 Memorial. The staff were friendly and, when it worked, the coffee machine in the lounge was a welcome addition to the water station. We were glad to be able to borrow a kettle as there was only a Nespresso maker in the room. The gym was small and seemed poorly ventilated. We found the bed too soft and would have welcomed an additional duvet given the freezing temperatures during our stay. Some shower gel in the bathroom would have been useful, too. We could hear the construction works going on to improve the hotel's amenities on the 20th floor. The hotel was a good base for our stay and we would certainly consider returning to a CQ property in future.
