Columbus Airport Marriott

Convenient but aging.

The hotel was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable but the blankets were paper thin. The heat in the rooms was uncontrollable, it was either blasting heat or we had to turn it off and froze. No in between. The staff was very friendly.

The people at the front desk the evening I checked in were wonderful. Those ladies were so friendly and welcoming.

Clean, quiet, comfortable room. Super friendly staff. Great parking lot security when I had to leave in the early, dark morning. Nice restaurant.

Loved my stay! Convenient and staff very helpful and friendly.

The best part of the stay was the front desk staff. Absolutely the best!

Check in and out were super easy! Transport to the airport was painless and driver was great!

Stayed and made it easily to the airport

Terrible

This property is in an unsafe area. Look up this hotel in the news and online before booking. Parked to the side of the main entrance and was walking back into the hotel when someone dressed in all black and with both hands in his jacket pockets came out from behind a transformer or dumpster area and started running up behind me. Turned around quick and thought he was going to pull a gun. Then he says “I’m just going inside what you scared for” I told him go ahead then. started circling back towards the front of the hotel. Then the guy started running towards the back of the hotel. Immediately went to the front desk to let the receptionist know and she says “was he wearing a black jacket?” I said yes and she tells me he’s been trying to get inside all day(can’t unless he has a key card or runs up behind someone going inside) so I assume she’s going to call the police. I call back to the front desk and the receptionist tells me she hasn’t called the police and isn’t going to but wait for the security to get here at 11pm. It was 8ish. I ask her why wouldn’t she call the police and she started yelling at me that I don’t make the rules and I don’t dictate what goes on at the hotel. I ask for the manager and he was zero help as well told me he has no reason to call the police since nothing actually happened. Strange that someone can be trying to get in the hotel all night and the hotel staff isn’t worried about it. The he starts accusing me of not even staying there at the hotel

Good

Great for our stay the night before an early flight. Allowed us to leave our vehicle there for free while gone for 6 days and free shuttle to and from airport. Have stayed there before and will again in future.

I like what was available to us. Disappointed in the breakfast that was made available to us. For 25$ you should have eggs made to order. The cost and style provided doesn't line up well. You're server wasn't even in the space at the time, other hotel employees were, so they helped me get started. You also should have hand held POS systems that the server can take with them. They or i shouldn't have to take my phone to the back to do Apple pay or Google pay.
