Property was dirty and outdated . Found dried blood on one of the bed spreads , the shower head and sink daucet leaked. The screen door fell off when opening to the balcony . The room didnt have toilet paper when we got in . The ice machine was not working . The breakfast looked disgusting the fruit was all under ripe . Glad we were only stuck there for 1 day . The view was nice as long as you ignored the smeared up glass door.

Room, breakfast, balcony not as described. Room very out dated, beds very hard, paint coming off wall, cobwebs along ceiling. When we walked in ceiling tiles messed up we fixed. Shower grout had mold. In pictures the balcony had wicker table & chairs actually were hard plastic chairs. No housekeeping during our 3 night stay. Never ate breakfast very cheap looking. Staff was friendly and bedding was soft and cozy.

Property is very outdated and run down . Ice machine is broke , screen door to balcony fell off when opened . Decor is feom the early 80s, faucets leak , found dried blood on the bedding . Room wasnt stocked so i had to fetch toilet paper that the staff didnt stock "there was an empty roll left for us . I guess its my job to stock the room .

A great option for the Mackinac area. Only draw back is the bridge and the tolls coming and going. If you are staying on the UP side it's great. We did have an issue with the smell of Marijuana coming into our room from somewhere. Told the staff so we weren't accused and aired out the room.

We didn’t check in because the room was awful. Lights didn’t work in the room when we looked at the room . There were barking dogs in the next room. Outside security lights were not working .

Breakfast was good. The room was clean and had a refrigerator, microwave, & coffee maker. The toilet was kindergarten height and the sliding screen door stuck, the sliding glass door did not lock. The room and bathroom were clean and the pillows and bed comfortable + 2 comfortable chairs. We enjoyed our stay.

Great check in service, the lady behind the desk was very personable and each room had a view of lake Michigan. However, the heater in the room emitted a very bad, sour smell. For breakfast, the pancake machine did not cook the pancakes correctly. About 2 inches of the outside edge was raw, only the center was cooked. When we mentioned it to the clerk, she blamed it on the temperature of the water used to make the batter. So, even though they had free parking and shuttle pick up for the ferry to Msckinaw Island, we would not stay here again.

Maybe it was just my room, but the extra lock/latch didn't work, the ceiling tiles were mismatched and had obviously leaked. The beds were certainly not ones you would want to "plop" down onto cause you'd feel the solid section under the mattress. The two lights in the main area did not light it up very much. Breakfast didn't start until 8 am, that seems quite late for a hotel.

I was far from impressed with the difference between what was advertised and what the actual property and rooms looked like. Also breakfast was very lack luster. I ended up eating at a truck stop. I was not impressed with the hotel at all.
