Went to check in and they said our king room was not clean yet but there were queen rooms free. I said no and that we would wait. They said they would text us when the room was ready. Never got a text. After going out with friends and getting dinner we checked in, got the keys, walked into a double queen room. I called the front desk and said why do we not have a king and they said “they were all out.” So paying for a king and getting two queen beds with no compensation for our trip is totally unacceptable. Nevermind the lack of communication at the front desk .

It was nice to have 6 restaurants within a block of the hotel. The quaint downtown area was 2 short blocks away. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the valet service so parking for us was not an issue.
