It was okay. This hotel is also a part of Homewood Suites. We’ve now stayed on both sides and to be honest, the Homewood Suites seemed better. The mattresses in the Garden Inn side were not comfortable. When we enter the room, it was clean, but the room has a lot of wasted empty space that just doesn’t make sense. We had items to go in the fridge but upon opening it, it wasn’t even cold. We called the front desk and asked to have a different room, one with a working fridge but they were completely booked and we needed to stay in the room we were in. They did however send a maintenance man up to check the fridge, which whatever setting he put it on and told us that sometimes it just needs to be almost to max, which then froze our drinks and food. I turned it down some and then it was like it wasn’t on just a little while later. Luckily we only stayed the weekend. The room was clean, but house keeping didn’t fill our shampoo dispenser, and we ran out of Kleenex. We called and she brought a bottle of shampoo and a box of Kleenex. Didn’t actually change the new bottle day on the ledge. We were on the 24th floor and because they only have 2 elevators, we would wait like 10 to 15 minutes each time we needed to go up or down. The mattresses were not comfortable, but we dealt with them the best we could. Unfortunately we have decided to go elsewhere the next time we visit Chicago.

Great area for food and entertainment close to train access

This hotel was just what I needed. Affordable, conveniently located, walkable to lots of restaurants and shopping, and one block from the L. The bathroom sink had a leaky faucet and there were signs of wear and tear in the room, but the killer views of the city and lakefront totally made up for that. Overall, a great stay.

Very clean and nice property

The property was nice, only issue I had is that the room no matter what temperature it was set at would constantly be cold.

Great location, we were able to walk to all the sites we wanted to see. The room was very comfortable and clean. Highly recommend!

Hotel service and staff were exceptional and courteous during the stay! Only issue was people in the room next to ours smoking marijuana heavily indoors, causing the floor to stink. Other than that wonderful location with numerous dining options nearby and available at most hours of the day.

Better than expected. Nice clean rooms. Friendly staff. Valet parking is $70 and it was a pretty smooth trip for us.

Clean property with great service.

People were smoking weed on my floor all night long and it flooded our room, couldn't escape the smell. A random man was knocking on all the doors in our hall at 1am over and over. Didnt feel safe. Someone threw a dirty diaper in the trash can by the elevator and staff took forever to change the trash so that was fun.

Listen I just wanted to take my girlfriend on a nice trip. Online when searched on google “hotels for under 21 years old” Hilton was the first one. However when booked and checking in we were turned away and sent on a wild goose chase to find a place to sleep.

2 days I tell them, go clean the rooms, they did not clean my room for 2 days and very bad service. pool unclean jacuzzi unclean
