Holiday Inn Express & Suites ELKHART NORTH, an IHG Hotel

It had been a very cold and snowy day. When we got to the room, the heater was off and the room was very cold. It took a couple hours for the room to warm up enough to sleep comfortably. Also, the fire detector located in the middle of the room right above the bed had a very bright light that flashed continuously through out the night.

The property was clean, quiet and well lit. The room was comfortable and seemed well taken care of.

Comfy beds! Great area and clean room

We stood at the front desk for over 10 minutes looking for someone to help us.

Everyone was very polite. Perfect distance from ND to stay and they have a shuttle to ND.

We loved our stay. Property was clean and well maintained. Room was spacious. Location right off the highway was convenient. Just what we needed for a quick stop between Cle and Chi. Would definitely stay here again.

Breakfast was fair, the towels in the room were extremely rough and smelled as if they had been dried too hot with a burning odor. The only other complaint I had was that two of the three days there was a terrible body odor that lingered in elevator and throughout hallway. It was very repulsive. I mentioned it to front desk and they were aware. Said it was a cleaning staff member from India who did not bathe or use deodorant. I think the manager needs to deal with this issue. It was bad enough that it would keep me from booking here the next time I am in town.

Easy to find and in a central location-close to hospital

A nice place, big rooms, very good breakfast. There is no heating in the public areas, freezing. Also some of the staff were passive aggresive and not so nice or trying to help. Other were really nice. Overall its a nice place but the heating and the level of service need imprivement.

Nice place

Facility was very nice and perfect for our weekend trip to South Bend. It was nice to get away from campus and enjoy the outskirts of IN.
