Holiday Inn Express & Suites KANSAS CITY AIRPORT, an IHG Hotel

Easy check in, clean lobby, nice room

Took almost 30mins to check in after having a reservation and we were the only ones checking in. Also, the advertised hot tub did not exist even after calling and confirming prior to arrival that the property did indeed supposedly have a hot tub. Very disappointed overall for these 2 factors.

Nice hotel, very friendly and helpful staff.

The indoor pool was freezing, most of the tv channels didn't come in, and the WiFi was garbage. Cleaning staff was rude. The room itself was fine but I expected more from a Holiday Inn Express based on other experiences.

Location

Beds were hard , pillows were flat . Breakfast was ok if you like powdered eggs

The king size bed felt like a concrete sidewalk. It was so hard and uncomfortable we pulled out the sofa bed and slept on it.

Staff was nice

Breakfast was real good. Facilities were clean. Room definitely worth it. I didn't like that they charged me before I even checked in.

Very nice hotel with a wonderful staff, especially Esmeralda. She went over and above with her kindness.

Loved how clean everything was...quiet..and the staff was very friendly and accomodating...

This is our go to hotel by MCI if we have an early morning flight. They have good customer service. I appreciate a cinnamon roll and cup of coffee in the early morning before their shuttle takes us to the airport

Such a clean facility and wonderful front desk staff! Our room was clean and stocked with all the essentials, the hallways were clean, and the front lobby area as well. Breakfast included many options, and the food was well-tended and the dining area clean and pleasant. The neighborhood felt a little sketchy, but I think that's because it's close to the airport, and I would certainly be watchful at all times. The parking lot is well-lit and we had no issues though. Free parking as well! If I visit Kansas City again, I'll certainly be willing to stay here again!
