Holiday Inn WINDSOR - WINE COUNTRY, an IHG Hotel

Hot water didn’t get hot enough. Check in took forever even though I pre-checked in. Beds very comfortable.

Staff was very accommodating. Friendly..bathroom was not for disabled person not one grab handle.were in the bathroom.making it extremelydifficultfor my wife..it would be nice if there was someone available to move luggage if someone in your group is disabled. Even though the room was listed as accessible...it was notower and bathroowere diff

This hotel is managed by the same people as the HI Express across the highway from it. We stay here frequently while travelling on business. This place has a good, slightly upscale, feel to it. We have been satisfied staying here on numerous occasions. There have been a few issues, like no hot water in some of the rooms, loud stomping at all hours in the room above us, or sometimes just annoying things like faucets not tighted down very well. The rooms are mostly good, but occasionally we find one that seems a bit abused and lacking in maintenance. We don't usually eat breakfast here, but recently got vouchers for breakfast and the made to order breakfast was good. There are plenty of options for eating in the area, though Windsor lacks in good dining compared to nearby towns.

The room was clean and good environment. I purchased my breakfast ticket ahead of time but when didn’t receive it when I check in my room. I didn’t know I was supposed to receive a ticket until the next day when I went I attended breakfast. If they are going to ask for ticket coupon for breakfast, they need to be more proactive in their effort when receiving their guest

For most of my stay, we had no hot water. I was there for a very special occasion with my fiance. When I called the front desk, she sent a maintenance person who basically said this was normal to not have hot water. Nothing but excuses. I ended up getting a different hotel for two days because they offered no solution. I spent money here and money for another hotel. When I got back, I tried to talk to front desk again because we had a few days left at this hotel. They gave me a room two doors down. Still no hot water and also a pit bull was staying next to our room and barking all night even though this is not a pet friendly hotel and I’m highly allergic. Also, this hotel advertises a bar and dinner. It’s one of the biggest reasons I booked here. There’s no bar or dinner, only breakfast and that is not worth it. All in all, waste of money and horrible experience during my special occasion.

Decent hotel for a work stay or to use as a jumping off point. Notjing special. Convenient for Santa Rosa airport. Lots of nice local dining. Hotel has limited parking. Roms are ok.

We chose this properly because of the 9/10 rating it had. It was about an hour away from SF, so we were close enough to the city for our trip. I liked that the check in process was so easy. Once I got there, the front desk receptionist checked me in, in less than 5 minutes. I also asked for a place to eat unique to the city, and things to do locally. He gave me a great suggestion (sweet T’s across the street, dile basketball courts, and let me know everything was walking distance). The room was clean, simple, but modern. It was quiet. They have a gym on the premises, which I took advantage of. (They also have free water with fruit pieces out in fruit, which I’d fill up my tumbler with. The gym was quiet, I was the only one there. The ONLY downside to my stay was that I thought my stay included a continental breakfast—it did not. They said that I would’ve been given vouchers if that was the case. This is the only reason I cannot give them a 10/10. Other than that, our stay was great!

Close to 101 Freeway

Parking can be a challenge when there are a lot of people. Other than that we loved our stay in Windsor.

This was nice quiet motel with friendly staff. Beds were great! Unfortunately, it was a quick in and out night for us so I can't say anything about breakfast or other amenities at the hotel! We would stay again!

No hot water in the shower . No breakfast included.

Property starting to show some age. Pool area shows rust and lines show small stains on them. Overall another good stay.
