Homewood Suites by Hilton Washington DC Convention Center

Great location close to convention center , Safeway right across the street with Starbucks inside . Restaurants close by and many food choices to pick from . China town within walking distance . Hotel had complimentary breakfast it wasn’t the best , bland food , but I wasn’t there for that . Housekeeping was Great had kitchen, fridge ,dishes . Had a room with balcony which I was able to sit outside while it snowed . Hotel staff friendly and helpful . I would definitely stay here again ! Thank you Hilton

Quiet and Clean space. Nice shower and spacious bed.

Had a fine stay here. Parked in the parking garage across the street connected to the Safeway grocery store.

Everything was fine, maybe don’t put breakfast away at 9:30 when you say it is open until 10am, some of us are on a different time zone, everything else was just fine

We found the bed reasonably comfortable, the shower good, and the staff were always very pleasant. However, our room felt a bit rundown - the bathroom mirror had noticeable chips broken off along the edges, the kitchenette floor and some spots on the carpet appeared stained, the fabric on the headboard was very worn. Also, housekeeping was inconsistent and often incomplete. They'd leave more clean towels when we didn't need more, but forget to refill the toilet paper, or kleenex, or the coffee/tea pods. Our stay was about 10 days long, and at least 3 times we had to ask the front desk for refills of one thing or the other. The location was perfect for our needs, but I think for our next visit I would try an alternate place to stay.

Really clean and enjoyed afternoon social.

Staffs are kind and excellent. Facility is old. They close the free breakfast 30min early. Tv is new but others like bathroom and kitchen are outdated. Garage disposal was not working for our unit.

I was a little disappointed in the first room that they put us in because it didn't look anything like the room I had booked online. When I spoke to the manager Angie about it; she was very, very nice about changing my room to something that was much larger and much nicer. And she also sent up a plant for me and my husband since we were celebrating our anniversary. What I didn't appreciate was there was no way to park your car in front of the hotel and a valet person had to meet you out front the hotel to take your car and park it down inside a garage that we were never allowed to go into.Only the attendants were allowed inside the garage. The cost to park your car was $45 a night but because we owned a truck we were charged $65 a night. One night after dinner, the parking attendant took a car and parked it in the garage and later he came up to our room and knocked on our door and told us that we left two packages in the car. We were aware that we had left two packages in the back seat on the floor of the car on purpose, so it was strange that he bothered to look in the backseat on the floor and bring up two bags that we purposely left there when he was only supposed to be parking the car. For these reason I will most likely not return to this place.

The room is very quiet and spacious with good ambiance.

We had a terrible experience. First thing is about the service… we waited a long time for to do the check in and the second thing, we paid for the parking but when arrived after long hours by road they said the parking was full, but we had paid already. The car slept on the street. And we had to wake up early because parking on the street was only allowed until a certain time. We were upset because of that.

I had a room for five. What I didn't like was the position of the toilet and the fact that the door slides instead of closing completely. This is not practical when you have kids. Another issue with this type of door is the smell from the toilet, as the door slides instead of closing fully. I asked for help on the first night, but they didn't have an air freshener.

The breakfast was the same everyday. Eggs , potatoes everyday. Not what I expected for a Hilton. Asked for towels 4 times via text with no one showing up. They showed up at 11 pm.

Shower heater may be noisy. wash bowl drain was not open.

Very close to everything

It was okey, especially stuff was friendly but the room was freezing cold! i couldn’t set the heating ,i mean i did but it didn’t affect the room temperature.

Overall good

The luggage carrier was not available for long periods of time and only one in the hotel.

Amazing hotel! Very well located, clean, excellent service and loved the room!!!
