Staff members are very friendly and helpful. The location has many restaurants within walking distance. Hotel was clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.
The only criticism is that they should have better toilet paper. I find it's wasteful to have cheap toilet paper.

This Hyatt is a great addition to the Newark downtown area. Clean, modern and in a good easy to get to area and very walkable portion of downtown.

It was wonderful. I had a server at breakfast from Brooklyn. She was the most humble and sweet individual. Truly a pleasure from top to bottom from the front desk till the very last moment of our stay.

The hotel is clean and nice, However, there is this annoying rude and non-chalant receptionist (A girl) wish I know her name. I think the hotel needs better staff.

I chose this property because it was billed as "pet friendly"
It was more like "dog friendly" as the staff refused to enter my room to clean for 7 days to bring fresh linen. The price for the room was too high for poor service.

I enjoyed staying here. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. It was in a great area. We ended up walking to a nice Italian restaurant a minute away. Parking was convenient. The bar area does get crowded with college kids, just an fyi. And the pool was a little cold (first world problems), but I would absolutely stay here again.
