Really enjoyed our 2 days stay here. The staff were great and the room was nice. Beautiful sunset if you get one with a view. Reading some of the reviews you should know that the entire hotel is not all hotel guests. It seems some rooms are used for timeshare and some look like residents. Hard to tell. In any case, as a hotel guest, our room and service were great. Restaurant downstairs was decent. Would stay there again.

The elevators seem to be updated/ maintained better. Even though the number of people in the elevators was less than 2500 lbs, the max capacity, two of the elevators didn't move. We had to let the last people in out.

Our 9-day stay at the Ilikai was good overall. The staff was the highlight of the hotel— everyone we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. For the price, the room was good. Having the full kitchen was great. Loved that all kitchen appliances and utensils were included in the room already. We needed extra pans and the front desk sent them up to the room quickly. The room was clean for the most part but there are some areas of improvement when it comes to cleanliness. The shower head was very grimy. It looked like it hadn't ever been clean. The mildew was very visible. There were also small gnats that hung out in the shower area of the bathroom (on the ceiling near the shower head). I also found two small cockroaches during our stay— one on the refrigerator door and another on the carpet near the bed. Again, the room overall was clean but it could be better. Loved the eating at Poke Paradise. Went almost once a day because it was so good! Also ended most nights with a treat from Dave's Ice Cream. Also really good!

Lovely view and enjoyed the size of the room. Having a full kitchen made a possitive difference by being able to go to store and have drinks and snacks. The restaursnt in the hotel was terrific.Good food and decent prices.

Great and relaxing! With everything we need on the bottom floor plus close to bus stop and trolley stop! Amazing place to stay! Need to keep pool open longer though like lost other hotels close at 9-930pm. Plus upgrade the pool!! Thanks
