The location is as good as can be, bring VERY close to everything downtown Nantuvket has to offer plus provides off street parking. Entry ambience is old timey. There is no elevator so be prepared to climb if your room is above the first floor. Our top floor room could not be completely darkened due to the curtain arrangement. The room was chilly at first however staff quickly provided an electric heater which did the job.

We enjoyed our stay at the Jared Coffin house. A lovely continental breakfast was provided. We especially enjoyed the delicious, warm coffee cake. The location was convenient, a short walk to the ferry, restaurants, and shops. In the evening, warm cider was offered, a nice touch after being out on a chilly day! Staff was professional, though not especially friendly. We had a few issues with our room.. the shower was very slow to drain, our room overlooked the outdoor seating for The Tap Room and because the top half of large window would not stay up, it was quite loud until the music stopped and patrons cleared out after 10 PM. The double lock on the door was also not in working order. That being said, a few issues are expected with older buildings but some maintenance is in order.

This was a nice, affordable spot in Nantucket. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s a central spot for walking anywhere in town. The morning breakfast was good. Walls are thin, so just be prepared to hear people coming and going, etc. Also, our shower was super tiny. It works, but might not be the easiest for bigger people.

This is a charming historic inn in a great location. The room was cozy and continental breakfast was excellent.

It's a lovely property, great location for walking, catching a free bus or riding a bike. Have stayed before, this time I had a single room that was very clean but disappointing because of a very noisy bathroom fan and the only window was blocked by an air conditioner ( that was very noisy ) so I didn't use.

We love the Jared Coffin House!!!! Wish they had coffee machine in the rooms.

We loved everything about our stay! The Jared Coffin house is so beautiful and offers the best location and service. It is convenient to everything. Wee loved having the fantastic outdoors dining/bar next door. We will definitely come back!

For the prices in Nantucket, this one is a winner. Very quaint, but with all the amenities one would need.
