Staff very efficient and helpful.

Shower was not cleaned, the room is outdated for the price. Nice location will go somewhere else for future visits

Initial room was occupied and filthy so couldn't check in to get ready for planned activities. Manager seemed minimally concerned with our inconvenience. Expedia rep VERY helpful. Will not stay here again

Always love staying at the Knickerbocker. The room was clean but the AC did not work. The bathroom was beautiful! Check-in process was not so smooth when using Expedia, for some reason? Claimed to not have our reservation. Parking in the area is atrocious. Otherwise, still a great experience at the Knickerbocker!

Was supposed to get a breakfast buffet, but was only offered 2 eggs. Also charged a “destination fee” which was not disclosed ahead of time.

Great location with great staff and the dining was excellent.

Things are dated and could use so repair or updating. For the price things could have been in better shape, at least the room that I was in.

The room decor and hallways are terribly outdated and dingy and dark. The service and employees encountered were wonderful ! Bathroom was nice with great water pressure.

They still haven't responded to an email I have sent them regarding a miscellaneous 100$ charge. This is of course being a 4 star hotel which was a bit of a surprise considering the service. First of all, when behind a desk, my expectation is that everyone is dressed representing the hotel. You are informed, helpful and you have a system that you use to ensure that guests feel that they are receiving a level of service consistent with a 4 star hotel. The first room we were in had a sink that was not draining properly. Iris at the front desk did move us to another room after. However, after three emails before even our arrival I had indicated it was my birthday as well as our anniversary. The next night I inquired about heating up food - the instructions were confusing so I headed downstairs to clarify In any case, why ask if there isn't something in particular that you do especially if you are also part of a membership club? Later on, I had spoken to Manali - she gave us breakfast coupons and drinks that evening. However, I see there is a 100$ charged after we left so - what was that about? Also where is the number for customer service?

Only complaint was during check in the receptionist did not give instructions on how to use the elevator. Apparently you have to use your room key to scan and press the number to your floor at the same time. This property is historical and beautiful.

overall, it was great stay. the only problem we had was that we got told two different things when it came to the parking garage. called the front desk, got told the type of parking we had was that one of the employees would park the car for us so we just had to talk to the employee in front of the hotel. which turned out not to be true. the employee called the manager, he came and look at the email and code that was sent to us. said that the front desk was wrong then continued to give we the wrong directions to the parking garage we needed. finally getting to the wrong parking garage, the employee who works there was kind enough to help us and give us the correct directions. super helpful, more helpful then the actual employees who work at the hotel.
