Oak Grove Racing Gaming & Hotel

Love staying at this hotel. I live only 5 minutes away but i was enjoying the football games and some beer. So i stay there to be safe.

We had looked forward to our stay here for months and even invited more family along during the holiday stay. After the family learning how to play a few card table games, to say we were disappointed the casino didn't offer any table games at all is an understatement! I don't spend $1 in the casino on the slot machines or races just because I was upset. Then you have the elevator that was shut down basically the entire 2 night stay we were there. The grand finally was the heat going out of the building. We were freezing- froze the entire first night trying to sleep as did my parents. We thought the thermostat was broken. With our wonderful view of all the HVAC systems on top of the roof, since we never saw any service people out there, we didn't think there was a major problem. FINALLY on the 2nd night, they brought around space heaters for the guest to use. When I purchased 3 rooms for more than a 1 night stay spending that kind of money on a Holiday Weekend- I expect to enjoy my stay very much, and that did not happen. Even my 15 year old daughter ended up disappointed to stay here during her rodeo competition. Staff was friendly but it took awhile to get checked in. Almost like an argument of who was going to check us in. Hotel rooms we loved with all the horse paintings- they were lovely.

It was in a good location. The room was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and nice.

Staff and housekeeping personnel are excellent. Garrison’s Oak Steakhouse was delightful and Carlos was so professional and cordial. Food was yummy.

We always have a nice stay but I wish some staff had a friendlier demeanor, specifically "Monica" at the snack bar. If she can be nice to her coworkers, she can be kind to customers.

The bed was really soft and cozy.

This property was absolutely wonderful. I only have 1 issue. There were dirty underwear in our room AND used tissues in the bathroom. Attention to deal would be great. The steak restaurant was absolutely outstanding! Our waitress Bree was great and so was Joshua. We will be back.

The staff at the hotel and at the casino have all been kind and professional.

We stayed one night while visiting a friend in town. We stayed in an executive queen room and loved the amount of space we had. Beds were pretty comfy and the room/bathroom were really clean. The only negatives were the sliding door to the toilet was loud and kept catching on something we couldn’t see, and we could hear someone’s tv when we were trying to get to sleep. But it wasn’t very loud. Staff were really nice and we look forward to future stays.
