Hotel Mar Vista

We were just there over night, but it was very clean and comfortable.

The staff was nice the rooms were clean . Just wish the pool was open

This hotel isnt bad but you definitely get what you pay for. The pool was broke all weekend long disappointed the kids. The walls are like paper thin at a normal talking voice you can hear your next door neighbor perfectly clear. After 10 there is no one at the front desk and people are very noisy and dont respect quite time. If your a heavy sleeper this would be a great place but if your a light sleeper and stay awake over noises this isnt gonna be a place you want to stay.

The check in was fast and the guy was really nice. I had a beautiful view in king size room. Had a great time there.

We arrived in town after a long drive and had a family emergency that forced us to turn around and drive back home as soon as we got to the hotel. I tried speaking with front desk about our situation and potentially getting a credit for a future stay or a refund and he couldn't answer my question and referred me to the manager who I messaged who never responded. Expedia spent 4 days as well and couldn't get a response. Poor customer service, especially after I recommended this hotel to many other family members and friends who have stayed there.

My stay here was an unpleasant however the first night that I stayed out of the two housekeeping was cleaning next-door banging around extremely loud until like 7 PM which seems inappropriate however everything else was decent. There was only pastries for breakfast, but that’s not a huge deal I guess and overall, I had an amazing view

I stayed in a king bed room with ocean view. The room was quite large with a couch and coffee table. There was a small fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker in the room. Keurig coffee was also available in the lobby along with small packaged danishes for a very light breakfast. The hotel is in decent shape; nothing luxurious but not terrible. I would stay here again.

Would have loved to been able to use the pool, have a drink at the bar but other then that good stay.

Good quality for the price point

We stay here often, pet friendly, clean and the staff is very knowledgeable and has great customer service. Pool is currently not available, but for the price you can’t beat it. Will stay there again

Good bang for buck you get what you pay for and a little more

Upon arrival, the hotel looked great. Outside is maintained. We checked into our room and immediately noticed a layer of dirt/dust on the dressers. The bathroom had cup marks from spilled liquid. Surfaces looked as though they had not been wiped down. This immediately made my husband and I concerned about the cleanliness of the bed sheets and other areas in the room. We asked to be moved to another room, which they aquiesced and apologized. We move to a second floor room and the same issue with room and bathroom surfaces. They were dirty. In addition, we were not notified that the pool was closed when we spoke to the hotel about amenities the week prior. The hot tub was freezing cold. This was part of the reason we chose this hotel. I have never chose to leave a hotel and book elsewhere and this is what we felt we had to do after a 7 hour drive to this destination. It was apparent from stepping into the rooms that this hotel has not been able maintain the rooms since switching management. What we saw in the pictures when we booked is not what we got. Terrible and frustrating experience.

The staff is so friendly. The hot tub is super clean.

Staff was great! Rooms were clean. But when me and my husband booked we thought we were gonna have a hot tub and swimming pool and they were both out of order. I feel that it should be on the website that there dad.

We had a good time and Ali at front desk was friendly and was able immediately address our requests.

We booked a king. Our email showed a king. Their records indicated a queen. We refused the queen room and they put us in a king.
