This boutique hotel is a GEM!! We stayed here as we attended a Jazz show at Catalina Jazz Club, right down the street. This will be my "go to" hotel when I plan to stay in Hollywood, without a doubt!!! Gorgeous -interior design, room, pool area and the staff was phenominal! VERY CLEAN which is a must for me! Additionally, absolutely reasonably priced!

We paid a lot of money for the rooms , ths photos of the rooms dont look like the reality . The hotel didnt clean ths rooms , we are very upset for sure that we'll not come back to this hotel.

The reason for my review is that Pali Hotel charges excessive hidden and deceptive fees. They advertise a low price but then have a 45 dollar parking fee (that was somewhat ok because I was made aware) and an additional 30 dollar destination fee covering really nothing (supposedly the advertised complimentary internet). Apparently, they hide this fee somewhere in a link (this is likely illegal). I dislike businesses that try to make money out of hidden fees and distort competition. They should simply increase the room charge. The room was tiny and the front desk staff rude. Overall, I would not want to come back and highly encourage other consumers to stay away and not give money to hotels that believe in deceptive business practices. Thumbs down.

Great location next to Hollywood Walk of Fame and Universal Studios. I did not like required valet parking at costs over $50 a night including fees. Hard to find parking in area.

We stayed here for two nights and was fine. Room was okay and tidy. The main issue is the surrounding area feels a little bit unsafe, particularly at night. The hotel is a good budget option if you want to be near Hollywood and Beverly Hills, but from what we gathered you pay the premium on hotels for the safety aspect as you get closer to Beverly Hills. A nice hotel, nothing was a problem, but I think next time we would pay a bit more and stay closer to Beverly Hills.

Very cute and comfortable stay, and the staff is excellent. Only downside is the walls are a bit thin. Very close walk to Hollywood Blvd so lots to do, but the area is also a little rough around the edges.

Everything was good, area around feels a bit unsafe. Cleaning of room needs to be asked at the lobby, sign on the door does not request it, however quickly was resolved by front desk. Walls are very thin so you hear most of people walking around or the stairs. Apart from that the place is really nice.

Location of the property is very convenient - for those who want to explore Hollywood Boulevard and Walk of Fame. Otherwise, too many homeless people in that area of Sunset Boulevard. We had a breakfast at cafeteria, and it was very good, as well as service there. For the Service however I put "3" because we reported issues with a sink and with shower in our room to the Reception desk on Saturday Nov 16th, but it was never fixed, and no-one returned back to us with any update.
