Pines & Palms Resort

Very cool place!

Pines and Palms is a beautiful small resort that has been newly renovated. We stayed in the Queen cottage (#8) that is ADA compliant though we did not need these accommodations. There space is very clean, minimalistic and has everything you need. The kitchenette has a full size refrigerator. They provide coffee pods, dishwasher pods, paper towels and dishwasher soap. The property is small but beautifully maintained. We never had to jockey for a seat by the pool or in the lounges on the waterfront. We were there 4 days and the pool bar was not always open. We never had entertainment by the pool. If you are looking for a party place, this is not it. The staff is amazing. They are friendly. They are very helpful. If you are looking for a quiet place to recharge this is for you. BTW they charge a daily resort fee when you get there.

Absolutely perfect! We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa. Tremendous space and beautiful views of the ocean. All of the fun was literally outside our front door. It was very hard to leave. Highly recommended this place!

Beautiful property. Totally immaculate. Super plush bath towels. Everything has recently been redone. Loved the decor in the check in office. Highly highly recommend.

Staff was friendly

We have stayed here twice before and loved the place with the wonderful ambiance of the Keys. This was fine and replaced with HGTV makeover that could be placed anywhere. The fun pastel colors replaced by shades of beige! Each unit different and I was in four to view. Furnished with impractical furniture and Zero drawers, We could not begin to get all into the small closet so had clothes draped all over. Several of our very favorite features were a table and chairs on the porch where we often ate breakfast and lunch being outside as much as possible to enjoy the view and weather and then the tables and chairs on the beach where we would go mornings and evenings after the pool area locked. It's a friendly place with most returnees and the conversation was 100% the disappointment all felt. Most said they would not be back. We are undecided about that. Will wait to see if any changes in a few months as they have only been reopened several weeks. Would love to be there again but time will tell,

Place was under heavy construction, when booking stay know one mentioned the whole resort is under reconstruction. Besides the construction the location was beautiful setting

Staffs during checkin are friendly and helpful regarding dockage and accommodation while new renovations are being done to the resort.

We love pines and palms! We always have a blast here! They were renovating when we were there, but it didn’t interfere at all with our good time! The room was clean and we love the unlimited access to the water sports! We are hoping the charm and uniqueness to this resort doesn’t change after the renovation. It’s our new favorite place in the keys!

Quaint, simple, clean and peaceful. Observing the stars from the dock at night was sublime. Comfortable and nice bedding. This place delivers everything you want in a straightforward and charming way. Exceeded expectations. Would definitely stay here again!

The views are spectacular. The grounds are maintained beautifully. Rooms are so clean and stocked well for our weekend getaway. Definitely returning to this property!

The property is very well maintained. Landscaping and grounds are touched up daily and it really shows. For a unit with a kitchenette, there needs to be some additional supplies available. We had no dishpan, making it a challenge to wash, rinse, dry dishes because there was very little counterspace. There were no pans to use in the oven and no mixing bowls (we had to use a saucepan to whisk eggs). There was a spacious walk-in shower that could use either a small bench or grab bar. The shower head was very basic in comparison to the shower itself. Looked like something out of a campground bath house. We also had to purchase a box fan to circulate the air conditioning, as the living area heated up with no chance of cooling. The sofa was disgusting. It was a fold out for more guests and I'm really glad we didn't bring anyone with us to use it for that! All in all, the outdoor areas made up for the issues with our unit. We know what to bring next time!

We had a blast here! It’s quiet, clean, has friendly staff, and also has a real laid back, Keys feeling to it! We loved the paddle boards and kayaks, and nice private beach! Such adorable rooms too! We will be back soon!

Fabulous and friendly staff. Lovee the serene waters and views. Great location with midway bakery right outdoors and great turtle inn. Easy access to other islands. Kayaking bike riding etc all amazingly accessible and free.

Staff was amazing, also the water activities are included in the resort fees
