Primo Old Town Location with Heated Pool

When I arrived at the property I got through the door and was immediately hit with a strong odor of urine. It made me sick to my stomach it was so bad. I had been looking forward to staying so close to Old Town. I contacted property owner/manager who told me they had never had any complaints before and it was probably just sewer gas. It was not. I told him it might be his toilet ring, but it wasn’t sewer gas. I asked him to refund my money, as I had just had a surgical procedure that day, and could not stay at the property in those conditions. I wasn’t even allowed to fly out of Phoenix for 4 days post surgery to avoid infection. The gentleman said he would get back to me and never did that evening. I repeatedly asked him to refund my money. I had to book another property, at an inflated price since it was last minute, and 6 miles out from the area I had planned on staying. This was done at my own expense. The following day he texted saying he was sorry for not getting back to me, and asked if I would be at the property around 230 in the afternoon when his cleaning person would check out the apartment. I again asked for my money back, and told him that I had not stayed there. I told him that I would be reporting this to the Expedia, and Kayak, and my credit card company as well as the better business bureau if he did not refund my money. I’ve never heard back from him. Bookers Beware!! Don’t make the same mistake I made! Stay literally anywhere else!!!!

Property was in good condition and near a lot of great local amenities. We were not able to use the pool because there was no key provided. I asked about it but never heard back. Also, painters were working the first two days we stayed there and we didn't know that would be the case. That's probably a rare occurrence, though

Lousy check in experience, loud every single night until past 1am, no AC, awful experience, never staying again, nor would recommend.

Spatula handle broke Pool key doesn’t work Dumpster key doesn’t work Flame igniter doesn’t work for the fire pit AC leaking Walls are super thin (no privacy) Toilet paper holder is broken (cut myself on the screw sticking out) Duvet zipper is broken Super dirty shower and floors Don’t be tempted by the price. Booked a delux studio, which is more like a micro studio. Super micro. My issue is, why list all these amenities if they aren’t available. We couldn’t use the pool and didn’t have access to the dumpster (we booked the stay for 8 days so obviously trash is going to build up). I cut myself on a screw sticking out of where the toilet paper holder should be, there are outlets that don’t work, the flame igniter for the fire pit is long dead, patio furniture on the roof is so disgusting and dusty/dirty, the handle of a spatula broke after using it for 5 minutes… and nothing was resolved. Their “handyman” must be on vacation or something. Now the AC. This is Arizona. I was expecting the AC to work. The coolest you can put it is 20C which is 68F… that isn’t even that cold, so that was a shocker. It drips water everywhere, and that’s an understatement… just wow. There is no free bottled water or laundry detergent as listed, we had to buy our own. We left behind some laundry detergent for the next unfortunate soul that decides to stay here, as well as 4 mega rolls of angel soft toilet paper, as they only provide 3 cheap rolls of Scott brand we also donated some Dawn dish soap.

It was a Beautiful place to stay and I would definitely stay again! Nice and cozy, perfect for couples.

This place was perfect for a week long solo trip. Very comfortable and came with a nice tv for entertainment and a great little kitchen to cook meals and keep drinks. First come first serve parking was a little packed, but you could always find a spot somewhere on the street. I would definitely stay here again.

Pictures in reservation showed multiple rooms. Reservation only included one bedroom. The bathroom was locked upon arrival and I had to use the neighbor’s bathroom.

I liked the location and access. It was fairly private and quiet and felt pretty safe. I was a little disappointed in the mattress, but otherwise it was a good place to sleep.

I was charged a cleaning fee outside of the reservation. The place was unsafe. So I checked out a day earlier. I need someone to contact me:

Loved the quiet but central location. The grounds are well taken care of. The unit itself was pretty clean but could use a new mattress, bedside lamp and a lick of paint… small kitchen was very functional though with all the provisions needed to make some eggs for breakfast… communication with property manager couldn’t have been any better! So responsive! Would definitely stay at this property again, but perhaps try a different room next time. Thanks so much!!

Great place to stay! Especially for the price. Clean, comfortable and very friendly and helpful staff!

Vince was easy to communicate with, so polite and helpful, and definitely made me feel welcome! I was staying here during a very hectic time and to have my own quiet haven and not have to worry about anything was an immense blessing. The only issue I would mention is that one of the blind slats for the sliding glass door is missing and definitely felt a little less private as it does point to the bed/inside the room. Maybe fix that and also get some blackout curtains or curtains in general? Otherwise this was an amazing place to stay and I absolutely positively recommend it!

I really enjoyed the area. Very quiet and near a lot of places. I especially enjoyed the cafe on the corner. The host was kind and quick with any responses or issues.

What an absolute terrible place for us to have chosen to stay. To start off, when you enter the place it reeks of dog odor. Then you take a closer look and just about everything is filthy in this place. The shower floor, the toilet, the bathroom sink, the floors throughout, the oven is full of food particles and burnt on carbon, the microwave is full of splattered food, the stovetop has cooked on food on the burners, the dishes are all stained, the dishwasher stinks and is clogged of food in the filter, the washer and dryer were filthy/full of hair and dirt, the “mop” was stored outside in the elements mop side down in the patio where they want dogs to relieve themselves, there’s someone’s dog harness left in the bike that’s stored there covered in hair, and the towels don’t look too friendly. In addition to the dirty place, I specifically contacted the property to make sure there was actually a crib available as it states in the description, when we arrived there was not one. They insisted that the air mattress stored in the bedroom closet was a crib, even after I had opened it up and took a photo of it. I had to go to a local store to purchase one for our infant. The next day the property manager sent me a photo of the closet from before we rented and circled what was the air mattress again. The absolute kicker to this was that we got a note on our car from a local renter letting us the designated parking was actually a fire lane and we could be towed. We left a day early.

Small Coffee shop, wine bar and grocery just across the street. Very quiet neighborhood. Very clean inside and out. Worked out great.
