I booked a suite poolside for my family, upon arrival they had booked it for someone else so I had to get different suite that wasn't poolside and did not get refunded for the cost difference then the next morning I observed a rather good size bedbug crawling across my shirt. Staff admitted to me that they knew it was a problem. I still have not gotten my refund they promised they would approve through Expedia.

It started that we were supposed tobhave a 2 queen room. Got a king and pull-out. Bathroom door didnt shut. Back door was broke. Found dirty ubderwear under bed. And was told there was a buffet breakfast and the only thing out for breaksfast was premade muffins orange and apples and cereal. It was joke

We stopped on our way to Chicago. We chose this hotel for the indoor water park and hot tub. It would've been nice to have a good hot tub after a long drive. The hotel was almost deserted, water park was closed, and hot tub was luke warm. The staff was great and did what they could but the hotel itself was not a great representation of Ramada and we were very disappointed and not able to just Relax. Also, breakfast was not a buffet breakfast so we had to leave and pay for breakfast...on top of our hotel bill. The restaurant and bar personnel were great but there were only 2 staff members to cook, serve, and bartend.

Room wasn’t ready at checkin time and many people had to wait for hours for rooms. Pool was still rundown even after they said they “redid” stuff. No discounts or anything else for all the issues. Will be the last time we stay at this place.

I was skeptical due to the review but we had a good trip. It could definitely use some updates and they could do better at staying on top of some things but for the price we paid, it was fine for a quick trip and the kids enjoyed the waterpark. The only issues we ran into were our room not being ready at check-in (they were very busy given the holiday so we were understanding) and the staff was friendly even though it was obvious they were overworked and stressed out. The other issue was that they ran out of towels in the pool area and we only had 2 full size towels in our room despite there being 4 of us. We made do and they brought towels to our room once they were ready. If you're expecting a high end hotel then this isn't for you but it was an affordable stay with something to do for the kids and free breakfast so we were satisfied and would likely visit again.

Proximity to highway was great. Cleanliness was sub par. Pool/slides never opened and there was no communication from the 3 lifeguards present or the front desk as to the reason or timing of a possible opening.

Check in was at 4pm, we disnt get into our rooms till closer to 7pm as the rooms were not ready yet from being cleaned. My parents had a massive blood stain on the mattress on their pull out couch. My room was not vacuumed at all, no toilet paper in the bathroom. Only 2 towels. Did not get anymore towels. We inly stayed one night, so not a terrible deal. My little cousins, minors, went with my grandma to the front desk to get a new key as she lost hers. She accidentally told them MY room number instead.of hers and they gave her a room key to my room. They didnt bother to check anyones ID, just gave some random person a key to a random room.

Great customer service. Nice sheets and bedding. Easy to find parking.
Facility worn, door to room looked like it had been broken and repaired, no hot water in shower in evening or in morning, no closet door in room, dirty glass doors-handprints all over.
Other guests, strong “smell” in hallways, kids running, yelling, slamming doors on and off until 4am. Pool area good for younger kids.

The room wasnt very clean. The mattress had blood stains and urine stains. There were cans of Busch lite already in the garbage can in the room and the couch had white stains on it.. The front desk wasnt very helpful or available. The employees sat in the room behind the front desk and ignored me and my kids waiting to be helped. I was just trying to get some coffee packets for our room since breakfast wasnt until 8am even though the site says it starts at 7am. There were no vending machines for water or snacks. The morning staff weren't very pleasant at all.
Pros: the kids had fun at the waterpark and arcade. There were restaurants and gas stations within walking distance so that was very helpful!

It was an alright place to stay. Front desk staff was absent a lot and had to ring a bell for service. The restaurant was not open until like 3:00 so we had to go find food for lunch. Pool was versatile and adequate for young children. Room was good and clean. Would stay again.
