Everything was great! The breakfast room closes right at nine, so don't be late. The dining room portion stays open for a long time, so you can linger with your free breakfast. The coffee ran out a little early. Controls for the window shade are electric and secured to the wall. Will definitely stay again.

Great place to stay, very clean!

Everything’s great except for the location itself. The area doesn’t seem to be safe especially at night. But the hardware inside was great and they have the best coffee during my whole trip. Unfortunately unlike Hyatt or other places they only offer coffee during breakfast hour. Overall great the location is beyond their control.

Spacious room with a full kitchen and a good value for the area. We were lucky to have a great view of the Bay area. Comfortable bed and pillow. Wifi worked well. Very expensive valet parking--we parked on the street instead. Be sure to leave nothing in the car in this area of downtown Oakland.

The hotel/room itself was great. I’d even say the service and people were great. However, I had to valet the car, because there were in and out privileges. Checked in Friday afternoon & went out to dinner Friday evening so I opted to take the car. I had give the ticket to the valet person (which was a different one than the one I left my key with initially). The car was parked in front of the hotel and I was surprised to find that it was left on the entire time. It is a hybrid so it’s not loud but the valet person left it on for hours. Came back from dinner and gave my keys back to the valet. Note that this is a company car so I keep it very tidy, the next morning upon check out and getting the car back..I had driven it to a gas station nearby and I noticed there were empty packets of sugar and a coffee stir in the car. So I knew immediately someone was just hanging out in there. Upon returning the car to work, they asked me about a weed smell. I don’t smoke and this was the only place I valeted the car in so I am certain it’s someone who works the valet. For $50 a night it’s very unacceptable and unprofessional

Air conditioning in the room didn’t work well. There was no variety at breakfast from day to day.

Stayed here last minute for my partner’s brother’s proposal in Berkeley and it was honestly such a great time! Very clean hotel, great service, and valet parking is so easy! The streets in Oakland are confusing because of all the one ways but being able to get back to the hotel after a long day and not worry about finding parking is the best! We did have one tiny issue with the streaming service on our TV. At first it was working fine but then after the TV was off for a while it wouldn’t stay on Netflix or YouTube or whatever we had it on. It kept going back to the main menu after 5 minutes. We called to have it fixed but they couldn’t figure it out either and offered us a new room. We did not take it because it was already late at night but they offered us a 50% off discount for our valet charge! We were very happy with that!

It was very spacious we loved the kitchen and the bathroom. The tv worked clearly even on the highest floor, overall 10/10 amazing stay inside and out. And the lobby smells so good.

The room was very clean and everything was ready when we arrived. We enjoyed our stay and noise from the outside was at minimum throughout the night. Very comfortable bed. All amenities were in order for our stay

Definitely A Gem For People Who Need Extended Stays In The Oakland Area. The Suites Are Huge, Modern, and Clean. They Provide Pots, Pans and Dishes. The Complimentary Breakfast Was 10/10 with various options. Definitely recommend staying here.

Clean and safe

This was a nice place to stay for one night with my small child. Check in was easy and simple. I was able to valet my vehicle without issue. I didn't see any walkable places to eat when we arrived after hours but we were able to get some basic snacks from the market. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was a good variety of food including several low sugar and low carb options. The food was well stocked and the area was clean. I would visit this hotel again if I were in the area.
