The room was fairly clean but the bedspread had cigarette burns on them and there were dog chew marks on the bathroom door. Also it was unusually cold and there was no heat. Asked for blankets and they do not have any. They brought us a curtain to use???

They run section 8 vouchers through there. If you’re paying $100 or more per night to stay there, you need to know what other guests are up to. The pictures are the biggest catfish ever. The parking lot is full of dangerous folks loitering, the room itself was dirty, full of trash from the previous guest. Which leads me to believe sheets weren’t even changed. Everything wreaked of cigarettes and weed. Smoke detectors were ripped out. Beds were dirty, there was a small fleece blanket at the bottom of the bed, which smelled worse than the beds. Black mold in the bathroom. Cob webs in the corners. Roaches everywhere and partying, loud music and fighting until LITERALLY 4:30am. This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel by far and I’ve lived in 3rd world countries. Hotels.com needs to flag this and review this hotel and their schemes and false advertising.

I just left and checked in at a different hotel after 10 minutes too dirty for me. I was afraid my property was going to be dameged or I would be attracted by the groups of people hanging out in the parking lot or the gas station across the street.

Was just an overnight stay so the warmth n shelter my family needed was provided, but the lack of batteries in the tv remote, hole in the wall next to the room light, live roaches we killed, and lack of telephone to call down to the front desk really played a part in my overall decision to rate accordingly.

The hotel was clean. The guy at customer service was nice. The area was not one I would choose to stay at again. I felt unsafe. The smell of weed was so strong on the outside and coming through the vents from adjoining room.

Lots of homeless people around

this whole hotel smelled like marijauna, it was dirty and we got headaches from being there. awful awful place. our key also stopped working after one night, when we paid for two. definitely never spending money on this hotel again

You get what you pay for, room was okay and quiet, Bed was good and clean, AC didn't work but not a big deal as it was cold outside anyhow. Outside of the hotel is different story, its not clean, lots of people hanging around just outside the fence, some homeless camping in the bushes. There is nighttime security in the parking lot.

Absolutely gross worse hotel I have ever stayed in cockroaches running around the employees had attitude and stole my headphones i accidentally left in the room I went back and refused to give them to me furniture was broken bed was hard bathrooms were gross couldn’t take a shower all weekend will never stay again

Worst place I have ever stayed, I would not stay here for free. I was scared and couldn't sleep. Noisy people up all night, marajuana smell all over. Trash smell all over, I could go on and on but I usually feel you get what you paid for, it was cheap but again I wouldn't stay here if it was free.

The room had roaches running around. I would not stay there is it was free! I went to desk and told the clerk so. He checked me out after being there for 15 minutes. I asked Expedia to secure a refund for me due to the unsanitary conditions.

Hotel is run down and dirty on the outside. Litter all over the place from the long-term guests that hang out in the parking lot and in front of the rooms. Room wasn't too bad. Besides the cigarette burns and tub that could use a good scrubbing. Mattress was worn out and didn't sleep to well. Noise level outside is terrible. Homeless everywhere near and across the street from hotel. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE.

Well, it's a 2 star hotel,but it's worse than expected, neighborhood is terrible, room conditions not good,smell Marijuana, lighting not working, tv control not working

After walking around the whole day at the Florida Fairgrounds in Tampa, I returned to my room at Rodeway Inn Near Ybor Cityonly at 4PM only to find a homeless person in my room with all of his belongings in about 15 or so carrier bags!!!!!!! No, he didn’t break in!!! The hotel management actually gave him a valid working card to my room! He showed me that it worked!!! Though I felt bad for the person being put in this situation he was already aware something wasn’t right since all my things were in the room, including my iPad, which he tried to use to get in touch with me to tell me that I had forgotten all my stuff!! I asked him to remove all of his things of course, which he did promptly, but having a homes person in the room I was staying at with all of his belongings, made me feel very uncomfortable and scared. I was afraid the hotel would do this again with another homeless person and was on guard the whole night, which in the end made me decide to leave the hotel at 6AM, since I was not getting any sleep anyway!!! What a waste of my money and what a scary experience!!! This “hotel” is in a very rundown state, extremely dirty, no blankets nor duvets on the bed, no non smoking room as requested, but since it was a last minute trip I really didn’t have a choice. Their pricing per night suggested it was good. I should’ve known better. Be warned! Be very WARNED! Do Not TRUST these people!

Terrible neighborhood and terrible condition of the room/bathroom. definitely never again!!! I have picture in case you need! The funny story is that on the receipt it is written:" ...with this rate (259$ for two nights) you are not able to earn choice privilege points..." I should be paid to go there again. EXPEDIA should take more care of the condition of these hotels and describe also the area. Very disappointed!!!

They are infested with bugs

The room was discusting, it smelled strong smell of mold and other terriable smell. The shower had previous person dirty towel still hanging. I couldn't even walk down the stairs out front because there were so many people just hanging out out there. The neighbors music was so loud until i finely left at 9pm, it was shaking the walls in my room. My husband was in the hospitol, and i just left before it was even 9:30 pm that night, i didn't even stay in the room.

Booked for 3 days. The room was not stayable and we had to leave right away while being charged

This establishment is a roach infested, crack house for lack of better words. The rooms was disgraceful, roach infested and the mini sofa and bed linens had bodily fluid stains all over them. When I went to check out, the manager said there was nothing he could do because I booked through a third party. Then when I did contact hotels.com, they refused to refund my full payment, even though I was there less than 30 minutes. Absolutely atrocious.

Homeless all around area, rooms dirty, dirty sheets with burn holes, dead roaches in door frames, roaches under dressers, stains on walls and ceilings, bathroom wreaked or urine and stained. Just horrible.
