Sherry Frontenac Oceanfront Hotel

Nice beach. Elevator is broken, took 4 trips up and down before we could get on, 40 plus minutes delay. Only 1 side worked and stairs only went down to basement with no access to lobby.

The rooms need it up graded

The property is what you're expect.... A little outdated but clean. Beautiful views of the ocean. Parking is terrible as there isn't a parking lot. We parked down the road in s pivot parking lot

Our view was great- in front of the ocean.

Location is good, at the time of living was not quite comfortable, as the hearing is terrible: we could hear even as neighbors open and close the doors, conversations, noise from the windows, in the room near the refrigerator ran cockroaches - we turned to the reception to put them out. But despite all this, we managed to rest well, if it were not for one more moment - we still have not returned the deposit. When we checked out of the hotel we were promised to return the deposit within 5 days, but still no return. We appealed to them to solve the issue, but still no decision (provided a statement from the bank, which shows that withdrew the deposit, but no return). I am very disappointed with this moment, so I would not recommend this hotel, it's a pity.

Clean friendly staff nice view

No parking, my room door was botnworking they have to give me another room i got charged twice for a hotel fee 28.50. Waste of time

I will not trust the pictures I see. after arriving the totally outdated.

Staff was very accommodating, had the luck to get a balcony room with a beautiful beach view! The breakfast was okay, had the necessary, and the amenities like the table pool and gym room were great. There’s a bar that serves great piña coladas that are served by the beach. All in all it was a good experience and will come back.

The Sherry Frontenac Hotel was an amazing hotel. This was my first time in Miami and I am glad I chose this hotel as my first stay. The beach was 1 minute away, the pool was nice and clean, the area was 10/10 for convenience. It was great to have not only shopping areas but food, liquor store, and supermarket all within a 10 minute or less walk. Definitely will be re booking this hotel my next stay.

Perfect location on the beach. Large pool and nice room with good Air Conditioning. Hotel is dated but clean and price was better than most other options.

No coffee pot or microwave in room. The balcony furniture was cheap faded plastic, no padding.

The bar staff very friendly ,location is great lots of food options with walking easy drug store and liquor nearby large lobby with many things to do enough chairs on the beach and probably the largest pool of all the hotels and condos

The lobby and do pool tables a ping pong table large chess board and a foosball table. Breakfast was okay could do with more things for breakfast.

It was an awesome view the hotel it self was outdated the ac didn’t work the first night and they didn’t have on site maintenance. But it was resolved before. We got back to the room the next night. The breakfast was OK not many choices unless you like plain grits or oatmeal in the morning. You can add eggs, bacon or omelette, but it’s extra and they only take cash. The staff was nice, but they didn’t speak English. there is $150 hold deposit due at the beginning that was not an explained when booking on other sites.

Nice family owned hotel. The partial view was very small to little. The rooms were small. The morning breakfast was chaos kind of. The staff was nice. The elevators were slow.

This place has no standards,how can you improve if you have poor standards! This HOTELis old . let start upon arrival the front doors are not automatic,so push pull fight your way in with your luggage.The lobby desk checking -in easy everyone was polite/ helpful. the room appeared clean and no Bugs. The Room housekeeping they dont always check your room at the lease ,remove trash and clean towels would of been nice. IN the middle of our stay they had us switch rooms CRAZY, NO FOR THOUGHT FROM MANAGEMENT HOW ABOUT HAVING THE OTHER ROOM READY THEN HAVE US CHANGE ROOMS,NO PACK -UP AND BRING IT DOWN STAIRS TO THE LOBBY! AGAIN STANDARDS : the tv cheapest you can buy for wallmart , the ceiling fan the same. The bathroom seems to have been redone yet paint left along ceiling , poor grouting of tile leaving, old wall anchors in the wall just poor workmen ship, balcony room ditry glass and the outdoor light is missing no cover over electrical box either. the breakfest is ok toast,bagels ,cereal. seen hotel employees also eating from there. the pool area and pool the bottom is in need of repair, the birds love the pool ,problem is bird dropping all along pool edge YUCK! The pool area some minor landscaping would certainly help the apperance. The gate/ fencing between the pool and beach waiting for the fence/ gate to fall on someone. OVERALL this what you pay for not the greatest.The hotel has a pretty good restaurant inside and others across the street easy walking too. PARKING None
